New Shows & Movies To Watch This Weekend: ‘Nutcrackers’ on Hulu + More (2024)

This week, it’s all about comfort viewing and binge-watches, bb. There are some festive holiday releases, like the new Ben Stiller comedy Nutcrackers on Hulu to keep things light, or the intense spy drama The Agency arriving on Paramount+. For the nostalgia factor, there’s also Beatles ’64 arriving this Friday on Disney+. On top of all that, there’s Lindsay Lohan in the Netflix Christmas movie Our Little Secret, Colman Domingo in The Madness, and Kiernan Shipka in the new rom-com Sweethearts on Max.

New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: Nutcrackers, The Agency, Beatles ’64 + more

Ben Stiller and a rag-tag group of four real-life young brothers wreak havoc on the holidays in the new dramatic comedy Nutcrackers, arriving on Hulu this week. On Paramount+ you can catch Michael Fassbender in the new series The Agency, based on the French show The Bureau. And on Disney+, sit back and relax with the new Martin Scorsese-produced documentary Beatles ’64, about the band’s U.S. debut.

New on Hulu November 29: Nutcrackers

Ben Stiller stars alongside Linda Cardellini and the four young Janson brothers –Arlo, Atlans, Ulysses and Homer, making their big screen debut together –in Nutcrackers, a holiday dramedy premiering on Hulu this Friday. Stiller stars as a workaholic city clicker who becomes the guardian to four unruly orphaned kids. Davod Gordon Green directs the film which was inspired by his meeting the four Janson brothers in real life and wanting to create a film around them.

New on Disney+ November 29: Beatles ’64

From producer Martin Scorsese and director David Tedeschi, Beatles ’64 is a look at the legendary band’s first trip to the U.S. Featuring never-before-seen footage of the band captured by filmmakers Albert and David Maysles, the new doc includes new interviews with Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, as well as footage from the Beatles’ first US concert at the Washington, DC Coliseum and their hysteria-inducing Ed Sullivan Show performance.

New on Paramount+ November 29: The Agency

The Agency, an English-language remake of the popular French series Le Bureau des Légendes, stars Michael Fassbender, Richard Gere, Jodie Turner-Smith, Jeffrey Wright and Katherine Waterson (among many other impressive names), and is co-produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov. The show follows a group of deep-cover spies and their handlers as they live under false identities for years-long missions.
