Home of the Kansas City Royals in Major League Baseball, Kauffman Stadium is a massive and popular stadium with great seats to watch a game. It also has a great Kids Area, interactive features, and an impressive video board. If youre lucky enough to catch a game or concert here, its definitely one of the most captivating experiences of your life.
We love our Royals! No matter the “weather”, we will always be happy to cheer them on. While we’ve been to The K many times, we never tried out the mini golf in the kids area before. It is a neat little course! We always like walking through the hall of fame, seeing the fountains, and of course watching a baseball game. There isn’t a bag seat in the stadium.

Caught Game 3 of the 2024 ALDS here vs The Yankees! What a cool atmosphere and awesome getting to see the giant crown in person! Royals didn't win but I did catch a Yankees win so that was cool in itself. It is a really unique stadium and has a nice place for kids to play to get some energy out. I'd definitely recommend catching a game here!

Watched my first Royals game here and had the best time. The seats were great, the vendors came around often and we never had to stand in line for food or drinks. I definitely recommend catching the Friday night fireworks show. It was beautiful!!

Kauffman Stadium is a gem among ballparks. It blends impressive architectural elements with family-friendly amenities that ensure an excellent experience for all ages. The stadium's oval shape creates an intimate yet expansive feel, allowing fans to enjoy the game from virtually any vantage point. One of the standout features is the stunning waterfall display in the center field, which adds a unique and visually captivating element to the stadium. This feature not only enhances the aesthetics but also contributes to the overall atmosphere, creating a serene backdrop for the excitement of the game.Families will especially appreciate the kid-friendly amenities at Kauffman Stadium. The Slugger’s Batting Cage and the kids' batting field allow young fans to engage with the sport actively. These areas are perfect for kids to burn off energy and enjoy hands-on activities that bring them closer to the game. The brand logo metal screen is another architectural highlight, seamlessly integrating the Royals' identity into the stadium's design. It’s a striking feature that adds to the ballpark's modern yet classic feel.Overall, Kauffman Stadium is not just a place to watch baseball but a destination that offers visitors a memorable and enjoyable experience. Whether you’re there to enjoy the game, the engaging kids' areas, or simply the beautiful architectural accents, this stadium is a must-visit for any baseball fan.

This was my first trip to Kauffman Stadium and I can tell you that it is a beautiful park. Absolutely perfect for families and they do great with the kids, but an underwhelming experience. I've been to several MLB stadiums and the stadium experience left a lot to be desired. The big screen seldom showed a replay and just had a static stat display similar to the left-field display. You couldn't hear any play-by-play or any announcements. There was the traditional "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" song, but other than that, it was almost silent. No pipe organ music, few mid-inning fun songs getting the crowd involved. Overall, you got a AAA stadium feel for the MLB prices. Kauffman could do so much more.

Americas favorite pastime! Complete with hot dogs and peanuts 🥜! This was my first Major League Baseball game and I enjoyed it so much. The stadium is clean and well maintained, bathrooms were also clean and in good condition. There are many food vendors to choose from and even from up high the view and game were lots of fun. I will definitely be returning some day!

I love this place! Kauffman is great time, especially when they're winning/competing!First time in a suite,l...what a great experience! Great view, great food and amenities. The staff are amazing at all levels!Sewing gonna miss The K when it's gone!

Great place for a ball game, an oldie but goodie. Hardly a bad seat in the entire stadium. Tons of activities for the kids. Just a great family ballpark. The food options are tremendous as well.
Mark M — Google review
What an interesting Baseball environment. So quiet and calm. Beyond that the stadium is really set up for families with so much for kids to do. It's sort of in the middle of nowhere (except a sea of parking lots) so that could be better. But a fun place to see a game!
Jay S — Google review
If you rate this park one star, you're absolutely insane. This is probably the best park I've ever been to. It's the perfect size. The aesthetic of the field is insane, the fountains, the hall of fame, everything. The location is away from all the hustle and bustle of cities. It's own parking lot. What more could you possibly need? Is the parking lot big? Yes, because it's a baseball stadium and football stadium combined into one lot. If you get here late, you're going to have a wait. It's not a huge park, so if there is a long line, you can walk around to a section that isn't as busy.Large variety of food vendors. Pricey, of course, cause it's stadium food. The 8 dollars for a body armor drink is quite high, even for a ballpark. But man, this park is nice. I've been to about 15 ballpark and this tops my list thus far!

Visiting Kauffman Stadium to see the Kansas City Royals play baseball was a wonderful experience. We went with our whole family, and the day was beautiful, making it a perfect outing. The tickets were reasonably priced, allowing us to enjoy the game without breaking the bank.As with any professional sporting event, the food and concessions were a bit on the higher side, but this didn't detract from the overall experience. The joy of spending a day watching America's favorite pastime made the short trip north from Wichita completely worth it.Kauffman Stadium offers a fantastic atmosphere for baseball fans of all ages, and we had an absolute blast. I highly recommend it for a fun and memorable family outing.

Great customer service for our group tickets! Just call the number. Went for the 4th of July fireworks and they were the best fireworks show I've ever seen because of the added drone show. And the Royals won. Parking was easy too, and getting out wasn't the worst!

Fun stadium with great views and strong food selection. Sat in the 300 level for a day game and it was completely shaded. Parking was surprisingly convenient in and out. I recommend paying for parking in advance. Certainly helped to see a Royals win on a fun weekend for the team!

I went to the Royals vs Yankees playoff game #3 and it was phenomenal; other than KC losing but the review is for the stadium not the outcome. IMO being at a MLB ballpark and hearing this snap of the ball hitting the catcher's mitt or the crack of the bat after hitting a ball is as close to heaven on Earth. It'd had been about 5 years since my last visit and the updates I've read about over the years have truly transformed Kauffman into an absolute gem. I've seen nearly every pro stadium and this ranks easily in my top 5. This isn't only based on the visuals at Kauffman but the cleanliness of the walking areas, restrooms were clean, friendly staff in the stores, and concessions.

We loved this ballpark!!!! Cool summer night Royals win over White Sox. The crowd was energetic and friendly! Staff was welcoming and informative. Loved the history of the ballpark!!! Beautiful stadium!!! A favorite on our chase of 30.
Ann B — Google review
I was pleasantly impressed by the game day experience. The K may be over 50 years old, and even with renovations over a decade ago, this stadium is in excellent shape. Tickets are reasonably priced. My only caveat is the high prices for concessions.
Rob C — Google review
Kauffman Stadium is a fantastic place to catch an MLB game. The atmosphere is lively, and the iconic fountain display adds a unique charm. Whether you’re sitting close to the field or higher up, the sightlines are great, and the fan energy makes the experience even better. It’s the perfect place for baseball fans to enjoy a game and cheer on the Royals. Go Royals!
Ricky M — Google review
The ballpark looks decent, though showing wear. The location is not great for baseball, but is better than some. What really hurts it is when the fans are losing, you can expect even young opponents’ fans to be yelled and cursed at, with staff in earshot, and neither other Royals fans nor staff seem to care (or at least they don’t act)
Wesley A — Google review
There is absolutely no reason to leave this Historical ballpark. A beautiful facility with great views from every seat. I have been to three World Series and an all star game at this spectacular stadium. You can't get in or out of the stadium faster anywhere else in the entire country.
William M — Google review
This is one of the nicer stadiums I've visited. There's tons of restaurants and drink options that actually don't get crazy busy between innings. Even the upper deck seats have solid views of the game. Be sure to visit the free hall of fame museum on the first level on the third base side outfield. Pay for parking in advance to save some time as you arrive.

Six Flags St. Louis
Theme park
Water & Amusement Parks
Huge amusement park with high-speed coasters, kids' rides & water slides, plus live entertainment.
I have been to other six flags as well but seen a couple of technical failures here. Riders getting strucked in between rides. Many rides were out of order as well. This is Just the start of the season, I hope they are going to fix this permanently. But Six Flags is awesome 👍

Went to fright fest and it was amazing..very crowded though. The best part was once it got dark. If you can afford speed pass definitely get it..the lines where super long especially the hunted houses lines. Plenty of rides and activities. Nice crowd plenty of entertainment. Parking is 30..bigger vans or 70. Food is very expensive though. Tickets are 55 dollars if you want to get into haunted house they are extra. Please be aware the lines are very long after about 6 pm. Had an wonderful time

First day of the new 2024 season. The Rookie racer is awesome my granddaughter was right at the height requirement and she loved it. On a bad note Pandemonium broke down in the middle of a ride so we didn't get to go on it and the Justice League wasn't open.

We visited Six Flags St. Louis during their Fright Fest, and it was an exhilarating experience! While we didn’t check out the haunted houses due to the extra cost, the thrilling rides more than made up for it. The park was beautifully decorated for the spooky season, adding to the overall atmosphere. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the newly added ride, The Joker: Carnival of Chaos. This ride is an absolute blast, and a must-try for any thrill-seeker visiting the park!Overall, Six Flags St. Louis Fright Fest is a fantastic destination for thrill-seekers, and we can't wait to return for more rides! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to combine excitement with a hint of Halloween fun!

Expensive. Kids had an absolute blast. You know when the kid you have doesn't sleep in the car falls asleep on the way home. Wish I has worn different shoes too. Raft ride left my shoes soaked and that never really resolved itself

Good visit overall. We visited the water and theme park. The lazy river at the water park was closed and that was disappointing as one of our group members is disabled and that's all he could really do.The theme park was nice. We got on rides quickly as it wasn't as crowded and most rides were walk on. It's a very hilly park though and I suggest you invest in an electric scooter if you are in a wheelchair. We had one and it was so nice. There is no way we could have pushed a wheelchair up those hills and still enjoy the day. Catwhip was closed when we arrived about 20 min to closing. They close 1-2 hours before closing so I suggest you do that first if you want to ride. The Boss is a very rough ride. It's like multiple car crashes in one. Would not recommend it but I'm glad I did it once. Overall, a great park and the workers knew what they were doing!

Bought 8 tickets online for a Thursday in late July which is typically a less crowded day. It’s a better price to prepay for parking, too.My family enjoyed the roller coasters, kiddie rides for the preschooler, and water rides. We especially enjoyed the SHORT lines, which is so different than my memories of this place. The rides closed for 90 minutes during and following a short storm. The park remained open, and people took shelter in overhangs by bathrooms and restaurants. It was unpleasant but ultimately not a big deal. The park was free of trash and the grounds seemed to be more well kept than in previous years- trees are trimmed, some things have fresh paint, gardens and mulch look nice. I saw custodians throughout my time emptying trash, sweeping, etc.The park didn’t feel “run down” like I remembered it feeling in 2019.My family had such a great time, and if we lived closer we’d come more often than once a summer. We bought 3 tickets that had an unlimited refill container, which was nice. It was the first time I wasn’t thirsty in a hot day at 6 flags! It was

We loved this six flags! We have now been to 5 six flags. This is the contender for our favorite. Lots of great big rides, low lines, lots of room to spread out, cooling stations, great food, and the best turkey leg I have ever had.We thought we would only come here once. Now we are planning to come back after we visit Chicago.

Visited this theme park on a recent road trip and I have visited it several times in the past as well. Compared to other destinations and theme parks, the pricing is reasonable. It cost about $40 per person for admission and another $40 for parking and there are deals online and elsewhere to get those costs lower. There is plenty of parking although it can be a walk depending on the crowd sizes. The day we visited was not too crowded and we were in the park within a matter of minutes after getting to the gates.I liked that the park had convenient maps and wayfinding and they even had stations that told you the wait time of the major attractions onsite. This information was also accessible through the app. The lines were reasonable the day I visited and the wait time was no longer than 15 minutes, with most rides having no wait times at all. The food and drinks were expensive but that is going to be at any theme park you visit. It was easy to navigate through the park and there were plenty of places to rest, if needed. Why did I deduct 2 stars? During our visit, a several of the major attractions were not working or continued to go down so we did not get to ride them. These being the main reasons for our visit, left us disappointed. I understand the nature of these being down is most likely maintenance and/or safety issues but it seems like something should be done for guests if this is going to be the case.

I googled and looked on Six Flags website before heading to the park and to my knowledge the general parking was $20, $30 preferred. We had already spent $141 online for 4 tickets for an adult (me) and 3 children between 3 and 9 years old. Once we got to the gate, no line, to our astonishment the general parking was $40!!!!!!!!! I was not prepared for that at all. I was happy we didn't add on the extra $8 each it costs to get into hurricane harbor (it's not included with tickets) so it could help mentally cover that unexpected extra cost. Then it was a slap in the face as we drive around this huge parking lot with still 2/3rd of the spaces open and absolutely no way $40 could be justified.I had a friend with me and it was her first time at an amusement park ever and the first ride we get up to is the Batman and are next up and it's stopped, people are stuck on the ride and they had no idea when it would be working next and didn't offer any speedy pass or anything to compensate the 30 mins we wasted walking up the line and waiting for that ride. The last shock was the huge spike in food costs. $16.20 for a nachos (circle tortilla chips, cheese, jalapenos). $19 Turkey leg.Overall, I grew up with my mom bringing me my sister and my brother to Six Flags St. Louis all the time and it was such an amazing part of my childhood. I'm trying to pass that on to my boys but it wasn't the best experience today.

Super fun!! We had a group of 4 grade school age children and 4 adults, absolutely something for any level of rider here. I loved the log flume and the Bat man coaster. Yes, food and drink is expensive, but the tickets were cheap though. Clean park with friendly (some sang!) Workers. I recommend. A+

Overall a great experience. Cheaper to just get a seasonal pass because parking is $40 a day but free with premium pass. First visit was great, lady was super helpful and got us the meal pass so the kids could eat throughout the day which was great for two teenagers. Second visit we went straight to get a meal pass again and the lady that time was very rude and had to get somebody else to come help and even then I had to repeat that I wanted the All day meal pass while pointing at the giant sign at least 10 times for them to understand and sell me the pass while everyone in line behind me is getting annoyed that I'm taking so long. Wasn't how I wanted to start my day. Workers on the kids rides are mostly very friendly and kind which made my day better. Well be going again because we have season passes.

Well it's not great America is it? Only two bars in the park. Just to put that out there if drinking is your thing. They have a batman clone. As well as Mr. Freeze is fun for a few minutes. The park could really do with a few roller coaster upgrades. The holliday inn across the street is a nice touch. Pretty convenient with a shuttle bus doing a loop every 15 min.

Had an absolute blast there!Enjoyed seeing the Halloween spirit across the place! Only the ferris wheel and the train rides are slow here 😂.Ideal to visit in the fall and arriving early to get on many rides as possible too!

I will never visit another Six Flags again after my experience here. First, parking was $40 which is an INSANE amount. We visited mainly for the character interactions. We were greeted by porky pig as soon as we entered the park. They said more characters would visit later. I went to guest services, asked multiple employees, and even asked the person who was with porky when he came out again. They said another one would come out at 3. We came back at that time and it was just the same character. They said that would be it for the day. Bugs bunny didn’t even come out. We were so disappointed since that was the main reason for our visit. Why would they advertise these characters but it have them out and about? The employees knew nothing about the park or what was going on. The food is incredibly expensive. It was $17 for a slice of cheese pizza, $9 for soft serve ice cream, and $10 for a grande Starbucks. They also have signs announcing an added surcharge to all purchases to cover labor. They are literally telling you they’re charging more “just because”. How do families afford to eat here?! I have never seen food prices that high, even at Disney world. Also, I do not support cashless businesses. It’s ridiculous. The water park was a separate charge to get in, which is something we’ve never heard of. We didn’t even get to go because of the weather. I stood in the guest services line to see about a refund but it was so slow moving and previously unhelpful, I left. I just can’t believe what a cash grab six flags is. It is not family friendly and was overpriced in so many ways. We frequent our local amusement park (a former six flags before they couldn’t manage it anymore) and Disney often and this was the worst theme park experience I’ve ever had. There’s so many other things to do in St. Louis. I’d take my kids anywhere but here next time.

My family visited from Florida in mid-July, on a super hot day! We got there at opening, and started to the right with River King Mine Train. We worked our way around the park focusing on the roller coasters. It was easy to fill our Six Flags cups, which was needed in the heat. And we found the best AC in the bathrooms way back by The Boss. There was also a cooling/rest area inside a theater building, which we also took advantage of. American Thunder was closed when we got there, but it seemed to be testing to be opened. So we sat in the shade and waited and we got lucky because it did open! We got the first ride of the day on River King Mine Train, at opening; and on American Thunder, about 3 hours later! We enjoyed the collection of wooden roller coasters; and the short lines throughout the park. It was nice, clean and had friendly employees.

Having read reviews of this park being "run down", we were suspect but really enjoyed our time here. My children enjoyed the roller coasters, the shorter lines, and the food and drink options. We also went into the water park and while they don't have a ton, what they do have is solid. Clean and well-staffed. Would return. Some beer options throughout the park; larger and cheaper within the water park though.

My daughter and her aunt went to Six Flags. It was my daughter’s first time. I’m glad she got to experience it. Her younger siblings cannot go yet. They had a great time and my daughter finally got to experience a roller coaster after seeing many videos about them.
Bigjaydawgg — Google review
Great Fun for the kids, food and drinks are expensive. Lines aren't too long except for a few rides. Fright fest is fun. Need make areas bigger where the monsters are.
J L — Google review
The prices for food, drinks, and snacks are ridiculously high. The prices average about 50% higher than Disney. Even at Disney, you can take your own food and drinks into the park. For a family of 4 to eat a meal at Six Flags is over $100 with tax. That's insane and the reason for a low score. Also, the lack of friendliness is the employees is another reason for the score. Except Barb at Guest Relations, she's phenomenal and so good with guests who have disabilities. Thanks, Barb. The coaster rides are great for coaster lovers. But the Ninja will rip your ears off if you're 5'3"... it's awful.

Historic Walking Areas
St. Charles Historic District, located along South Main Street and extending into the historic Downtown District on North Main, boasts a unique collection of original architecture that sets it apart from other historic districts in the nation. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll through this charming area near the river and explore its cafes, restaurants, local shops offering unique handmade products, and lively nightlife options. The district hosts enchanting events like Christmas Traditions and offers scenic views along the Mississippi River.
I love visiting this charming, historic part of Saint Charles. The Christmas Traditions event is so enchanting and really puts visitors in the Christmas spirit. The local shops carry such unique gifts and products, some of which are handmade that you won't find elsewhere. The local restaurants, cafés, bakeries, ice cream parlors and coffee shops offer great cuisine and dining experiences, some with relaxing, scenic views along the Mississippi, and the local bars offer lively nightlife. You must visit historic Saint Charles--what a lovely place to visit!

A good mix of history, shopping and food. Nice flow, but car traffic can be intense at times. It would have a total different feel if there was no auto traffic, because you can't loose yourself in the time period with a late model car going by.....

Old St. Charles is quaint and full of historical charm. The shops range from cute and quirky to artsy and beyond, with something for everyone, and there are many nice dining options along the entire length of the brick-paved streets. Great place for a lazy stroll and a day full of fun along the Missouri River.

I love coming here at any time of the year, this place is always thriving with new people and new attractions. I especially love halloween season! Rain or shine they always say and they mean it! Perfect place to go when you just want to get away from everything and take a nice stroll down this beautiful historic district. The riverwalk is even a HUGE plus! Just make sure to pay attention to weather and the river for flooding, but besides that this place is a wonderful area to just go to, to get out of the house. Will ALWAYS recommend!

The Saint Louis Zoo is a world-renowned institution and one of the top zoos in the country. It features animals such as penguins, bears, and elephants, as well as a train ride. Admission is completely free for visitors, but some attractions are ticketed.
Great zoo. We were traveling through the area and stayed an extra day based on the recommendation of friends. We were not disappointed in the least. We spent the day there with our 3-year old and had a great time. The zoo has a great layout and is very clean. Staff was also very helpful and friendly.

We loved going to the Zoo! Growing up in San Diego we always loved the San Diego Zoo so it was a fun experience and see another large Zoo. Free admission is amazing! Buying the additional attractions is a fun plus for those who want a few extra things to do. The wrist bands made it easy to walk into the extra attractions without having to keep track of tickets. It was clean and well kept. If you are a member of the Zoo the attraction tickets are 50% off. If you are a member of any local Zoo they will honor the 50% off as long as you show the active membership. I didn't know that until I walked up to the window to purchase our tickets, so that was a bonus! We went during the Halloween season and the decorations were awesome! We ate lunch at the Lakeside Cafe. The lines looked long but they were pumping food out quickly. The standard kid friendly options are available and some adult options as well. They did offer alcohol, limited selection but it was offered at a reasonable price actually. The food wasn't crazy priced either, but what you would expect from any fast food place in 2023. Getting around was easy even when it got congested with people. It was a cooler day when we went so the animals were active and out playing. Overall it was a great experience all day and we will definitely make our way back to spend more time looking at all the animals.

Best of all, admission is free, making it accessible to everyone. With its beautiful landscapes, diverse animal species, and family-friendly atmosphere, the Saint Louis Zoo provides a memorable outing for visitors of all ages. And it's free!!!! Parking is either for $20 at the lot or free on a side road before the entrance

The Zoo is free. The parking is $20 , we arrived on a Friday about 12:30 pm and it was busy and full, the heat in early june is no joke. Everything that’s additional you have to pay as well for example the train rides, carousel, sting rays.. stuff like that. There is a lot of Cafe options to eat and drink, beautiful scenery, trees, gardens, the birds… I recommend you buy the train ride from the beginning so you don’t have to walk because it is a very very long walk.
Stephy R — Google review
Can’t really complain too much, as it’s a huge zoo for free. I know a lot of other reviews talk about the fee for parking, but just know there’s a ton of free street parking, just got to find an open spot and maybe walk a little. Quite a few exhibits were closed and/or the “animals were hiding”. THE CABYBABRAS ARE GONE! The volunteer said one of them had passed so they couldn’t keep just one, it now lives at another unknown zoo. The volunteers are very nice and helpful. The actual staff however was quite rude. Also, not that the zoo can control this, the patrons were very rude. Lots of pushing parents and children. Everyone wanted their kid to be up front, took a few strollers to the ankle. Not super well-kept, quite a bit of overgrowth and trash on the ground. Didn’t do any of the paid attractions, so can’t speak to the train ride, sting rays, etc. Overall, it’s fine, kind of a “one and done” attraction.

This place is always perfect, interesting, fun and friendly! And it’s free!! The weather was perfect and it wasn’t too crowded. The variety of animals, amounts of enclosures, specialty centers (primate house, bird house etc.), interactive nature and walks, shows, entertainments, foods, activities.. makes this the best Zoo in the United States of America!

Beautiful zoo! Lots of animals, inside and outside. Great layout, many volunteers able and willing to guide. Many interactive exhibits for the kids. Fantastic way to spend a day.

$20 for parking and free entry gave us a pretty incredible 4-5 hours of seeing exhibits! I was very impressed with the diverse amount of animals and the cleanliness of the park. Would highly recommend getting there early before crowds move in.

Love this zoo, it's huge! It's specially awesome that this zoo is free!! Definitely recommend getting the adventure pass if you plan on watching all the shows and using the train. Unfortunately the train was broken down when we were there so we didn't get to use it. Make sure to come early, especially in the summer. It gets crowded!! Also recommend taking advantage of being able to bring in your own food and drinks.

Free to visit! Parking up close cost us $20. Food and drinks are expensive. Nearly $4.50-$5 for a typical bottle of water. The cafe is delicious. The zoo was clean inside and out. Parking lot was also clean. Staff are fun, friendly, and informative. The animals looked to be active, healthy, and in good living conditions. We did not pay for any of the extra attractions. Wonderful family memories and moments.

We have been to many zoos.. San Francisco, Sydney Aus, Phoenix, San Diego...All are good. However, there is something special about STL.Perhaps like Forrest Park being established for 1904 worlds fair gives it charm. The constant updating really shows.Highly recommend a visit. Wander around the grounds on a nice spring day. Charming. I grew up coming to this zoo, and it is amazing.Plus, there is no admission charge.Check out some pics below. There is not enough space for all we have.

This is a great zoo. we got to the park it's located in early to get parking. They have lots of parking but over side rigs or rv & bus parking is roadside only! We arrived a hr early and got parking 1/4 mile from the entrance! We spent 3 hrs in the park. We could have spent a lot longer. I will definitely recommend this zoo in the future!!

I have worked at the zoo operating the carousel and in other attractions for awhile. The atmosphere here is great. The people are happy, helpful and friendly - employees and guests alike. You will find it clean… the restrooms, paths, rides and eateries are spotless or someone is on the way to wipe away any spot. Consider visiting off season too. You’ll be amazed at how intimate you will find your experiences with the animals. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Amazing zoo! It's FREE!!! Friendly staff. The animal enclosures are clean, well thought out and interactive. Many choices for food, snacks and souvenirs. The tropical flowers were gorgeous!

This zoo is phenomenal! We explored it all day! There are so many cool animal enclosures. There were many volunteers around the park so you could ask questions. The stingray encounter was a favorite in my family. The best part about it was it was free. If you find parking the street that is free as well. We highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful zoo! The vibrant metal art really bring a happy vibe throughout as you're walking through the grounds. It was pleasant surprise and to enter is free! I would definitely recommend this Zoo. I think due to the time of year (late March) much of the food places were closed - but there were tons of options! Parking close is $20 but there is also a lot of street parking if you don't mind walking a little. I look forward to visiting again!

Loved this zoo. It is big enough that if you do the shows too it could easily be a two day trip which is what our plan was. The zoo is free to get into but to do any of the shows, train or carousel you have to pay for them. I recommend getting the day arm band and doing all the shows the same day (park on north side closest to the shows) and the animals on that side then on the next day do the rest of the zoo. The zoo was clean and there was enough employees stationed around to help you if you need any. Would very much recommend going to this zoo if you are in the area.

The City Museum of St. Louis is an impressive performing arts center made entirely out of found objects. It provides a fun and frivolous setting for artists to exhibit their work, while also being a serious architectural and artistic project.
Such a cool place to check out! I went in with no idea what to expect and came out in awe. So many different cool things to look at and stuff to climb on. Definitely a cool place to bring kids but a lot of fun to do as an adult as well!

Run, don't walk, to the St. Louis City Museum!!!! This is an absolute MUST SEE if you have kiddos! The caves are phenomenal, and my kids loved them (bring your $1 Harbor Freight head lamps!). The roof is absolutely amazing, and the outdoor exhibits are a stunning example of ingenuity, using materials at hand, and are a welder's dream! Rent a locker for coats, buy a beer on the roof and let the kids play, and have fun being a kid for a day! The museum exhibits. Are fun, and in particular. I enjoyed the "privy" exhibit and the opera posters!

This was a pleasant suprise for my family. We had a great time and we could have spent all day here easily. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend knee pads for some areas. We will definitely be back. There is So much to see and do here. Get there early for parking. The roof top was a fun experience as well.

The City Museum is EASILY, one of the coolest places we have EVER taken our kids!!! Hands down! I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or us! Come ready to play and wear clothes that you wouldn't mind snags and rips in. Lots of crawling, small openings, and passages. Benches to sit if you don't want to play, too. They do offer knee pads in the gift shop. It took me 10 minutes to go back and buy some. I don't think the photos do it justice - this place is amazing and you should definitely go!! I would describe it more as four stories (including the roof which is totally worth it!) for interactive place ground that looks like all the nature scapes you don't want them hiding in. Mixed with artistic welded scapes that make for a wild adventure! If you've read this much, you're interested, and you should just go!Tip: Matching shirts made it easy to find our family quickly. Would advise, at times, you might get separated.

This place is FANTASTIC for your climbers! We spent several hours here and didn't get through it all because even our Energizer bunny was worn out. I recommend either bringing or buying the knee pads at the gift shop for $10 each pair and wear sneakers. I also recommend always having a check-in spot because you never know where your child will end up and it may be on another floor. I fit in the spaces but it was tight and I soon tired so I would hang at our check in spot on each floor. We paid for upgraded tickets, but I never saw anybody checking wristbands. If you want your kids to have tons of fun and you want to wear them out, this is the place! We will be back!

Amazing place.. I had so much fun. I vent there with my husband on Friday night. Who was really nice not everything is so easy to do but there are so many activities for everybody to enjoy. Just make sure you don’t have a backpack because you’re not allowed to go down the slides with it.
Valentina S — Google review
All I can say is WOW. The creativity and whimsy in this place is beyond compare. Every inch of space contains something to climb in or on, slide down, or crawl through. The roof is amazing, gives perfect views of the city, and the outdoor climbing structures blew our minds. Good value for the price, although I do wish everything was included for one price. We got lucky and got street parking but they do have a paid parking lot. Come early, it will get full! They have food and drinks to offer (pricey but convenient), so you can literally spend all day here and never see the same thing twice! Highly recommend!

Where do I even start! I have visited St. Louis many times over the course of my life which means I’ve explored the City Museum when I was a child, teenager, college student, young adult and now in my 30s. Each time is more enchanting than the last. The art is so unique and quirky and finding new nooks and tunnels is rewarding and exciting.I have been with my mom when she was 60 and just visited with my boyfriend who only had great things to say. We went Friday evening and it was fairly quiet so we were able to really explore unencumbered for about two hours. Being able to climb all over, under and through the incredible sculptures feels so freeing. The City Museum is an incomparable experience, my favorite place to share with loved ones, and has brought me joy at every age.

Went here for my daughter birthday. She and her friends had a blast. First time going. As a parent this place is a workout. So many different caves, small holes to go through and it's huge!!! I lost the kids a few times throughout the mazes but it was so worth going. Highly recommend to run your small kids energy out for the day and just enjoy and have a great time!

This place should have been fun. It was COMPLETELY RUINED by awful employees that spent their time hollering at children for random rules they seemed to make up on the spot.We went up into the spiderweb display, and there was an employee laying in front of the entrance chatting on her cell phone. She intermittently hollered at little children coming up the alternate ladder. Now remember, she's laying in front of the entrance... She said there was a sign at the bottom saying exit only... But she was yelling at little kids that couldn't read. She said she couldn't be stationed at the "exit" because she had to watch the web (we returned later and there was no employee napping in the web)My son got involved in building a block tower with other kids. They were playing happily for probably 15 minutes. An employee came over and knocked their tower over because it was a foot outside the designated zone (it was not blocking a walkway or anything) this was upsetting to my 4 yr old and he threw a block... Which didn't hit anyone... And the employee said he wasn't allowed to play in the blocks anymore. My toddler climbed the slide in the toddler zone, an employee yelled at meMy toddler got ahead of me on the stairs and we got to a slide she wasn't big enough for... The employee started hollering (at my toddler) "ma'am! Ma'am!" As though a 2 year old would ever respond to that... She didn't block access to the slide for the l little one. Just ineffectively yelled at her until I got there.Overall, it was loud, it was hot, it was overcrowded, and the employees spoiled the fun. The employees need training in how to deal with children. I would not recommend this place.

A very unique place for all ages to visit in St. Louis. Even better for kids because they can literally climb around EVERYWHERE! There are four levels included in the general admission and each level has a different theme. Each level has different food options and many available tables to eat at. Staff was friendly as well. We paid $8 each for the rooftop and it was alright. Wish that was just part of the admission. The best part was the tank you can put your hand in and the fish bite off your dead skin. It was so weird, yet cool!!!

There really is no place like city museum on earth. We had to buy a pass for our 5 night trip here because the kids want to go back every day. So much to do and explore and after 2 visits we still haven't done everything. Lots for younger kids too, but 8 and 10 are great ages to climb everywhere.

This place is amazing! Send a phone or walkie talkie in with your kids though!! Lol Adults can't fit through all the crawl spaces! Our whole family loved it!! We spent almost 4hrs there &still didn't explore everything. It's warm in there but tolerable. Take a water bottle, there's fountains available to refill. Bathrooms available everywhere throughout as well. Saw some people wearing knee pads &that's a fantastic idea!

My husband & I visited City Museum because of a recommendation from a friend! We really enjoyed our experience there & luckily the weather cooperated with us enough to where we were able to do some of the outside exploring & climbing before it rained. My favorite part had to be the slides! The 10 story slide was closed, which was a bummer, but we were able to do the 5 story slide instead. The only reason I’ve given it a 4 instead of a 5 is because so many slides were closed! We explored and climbed our way up to at least 3-4 closed slides that seemed so fun. Other than that, it was a really cool experience!

My 13 year old and I had such a fun visit in mid-July. There is so much to see and do, you can’t possibly see it all in one day. So many nooks, tunnels and passageways to explore. Most employees were friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great time and would love to visit again, if in the area.A few things that brought it down to 4 stars, instead of 5: 1)We bought tickets in advance, but it ended up raining on the day we went and we never got to do any of the outside stuff. Next time, I would wait to purchase tickets and only buy what I could use and not waste money. 2)The 5 story slide was open and very fun, but the 10 story slide was closed, which we didn’t know until we were trying to climb up to it and could not. So that was a bummer. 3) The employees in the art room really seemed to hate their job. They were rude and unhelpful. It was difficult to get any information from them and they were clearly bothered when anyone walked into the room.

The City Museum in St. Louis is an absolute gem! My partner got us tickets, initially thinking it was a different type of museum, and we were a bit confused upon arrival, thinking it was just for kids. But what an adventure it turned out to be! We explored the caves, which I thought we might get lost in, but it was all part of the fun.The highlight of our visit was a wonderful vendor at the popcorn stand. My partner mentioned to her that we mistakenly thought the museum was for adults and came for the arts. This amazing lady immediately went into action, explaining that the museum is filled with art, thanks to the owner's eclectic vision. She directed us to all the hidden art pieces and guided us on where to find them. Thanks to her, we didn't miss out on any of the artistic treasures the museum has to offer. The City Museum is not only a fantastic place for children to have hands-on experiences but also a wonderful spot for adults to explore and appreciate art. Highly recommend!

A great place to visit if you are in St. Louis. Seems like everyone in the city were there. Good for kids and adults. We were there for hours. The use of space is impressive. There is a tunnel or a slide everywhere.

This place is incredibly cool and mind blowing. We spent hours exploring the intricate tunnels, amazing exhibits, and cool rooftop, we could have spent many more hours and would have found plenty more to explore. Seriously, explore every corner you can of this place. It will not disappoint. Bring your kids but dress them in bright colors so it easier to spot them, bring/use knee pads (it'll save your knees, I promise) and wear tennis shoes. We love the City Museum so much, and 100% recommend you give it a visit.

This place was amazing! I visited on a Monday with my partner. Both of us are in our early 30s and we had a blast! If you have a playful attitude and enjoy being able to crawl and climb around while also exploring aquariums or other dispersed historical info nuggets, then you will love this place. They do have drinks for those 21+ if you want a little edge to your exploration. We arrived when they opened at 10 am and spent 4 hours running around, having a great time.

A delightful work of interactive art, not at all boring! Fun for adults, though kids would adore this. Watching the small video upstairs about the making of the museum gave a small glimpse of the hard work that went into the beginning. Unfortunately it was raining and the rooftop was closed, but looked like more cool madness put together. Hope this stays open for many generations to enjoy. A unique gem!

The Gateway Arch is an iconic monument in St. Louis, Mo., commemorating the exploration and settlement of the American West. The arch was built in the early 60s and is a massive 630-foot-tall structure topped with a striking metal entrance facade. The top of the arch offers stunning views of both the city below and the surrounding countryside, making it an excellent tourist destination for those visiting St. Louis with children. The Drury Plaza Hotel St.
This was an awesome experience. I’ve visited the museum before but was finally able to ride to the top today. The trams are claustrophobic though so if you have issues with that then this might not be for you. If you can do it however, it is so worth it. On a clear day, the views are incredible! As someone with sensitive ears, they did feel a little uncomfortable during the ride up and back down. You only have 10 minutes at the top so you should promptly start taking your pictures and what not upon getting off of the tram. Be sure to check out the museum and gift shop as well!

Really enjoyed the place. I wasn't able to go up due to the number of stairs to get to the tram and then at the top, but it's got a wonderful park outside. Inside, the museum is well-designed, there's a dining area, a movie theater that shows stuff like the 1970s documentary, and my favorite: A VR experience that has you fly through a painting showing small scenes of a moment in time. It's very well done and feels like a ride.Outside of the Arch, the place is very accessible and the staff is very friendly and helpful (like most national parks). You do have to go through a metal detector, but it was very efficient when I was there.

This experience was really cool. If you can push your time back to spend time in the museum first. But, if you have a group smaller than 5 you'll have to ride up and down with other people. But the views were wonderful, "tour guide" was great. Overall an amazing experience

The photos do not do this arch justice! For 17.00 a person you can take a tram to the top of it! 😳🤯 Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to wait for the next one ☹️.I found the museum to be absolutely fascinating and even had interactive displays that were very interesting and informative. It kept a 13 year old intrigued amazingly!!Well worth the extra effort to see and experience it!!

This is must do on your bucket list. This place is the smallest national park and the only one in a major city. The views outside and on the top of the arch are amazing. You can get some great views just visiting the park but I suggest you go inside the visitor center and see the free museum and then pay to go up to the top of the arch. It’s well worth it for the experience going to the top and the views you see at the top.

I was very impressed when l stood at the bottom of this arch on both the shear scale and of the height of this structure. Underneath the arch, you will find a very good museum and the lifts that will take you to the top of the arch. The views from the top are just breathtaking!

Stunning and beautiful 🤩 everything form the green areas, the trees, the Arch… then inside the building the museum, clean restrooms nice people and the best part is the views from the top. If you are scared of heights or small places I recommend you don’t go up because it is tight and a bit scary. Takes 4 min to go up and it descends pretty fast in just 3 minutes. Kind of cool. I saw a VR section were people can do the experience in Virtual reality.

I just visited the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, and it was amazing! The tram ride to the top was an adventure in itself, and the view from up there is absolutely breathtaking. You can see the entire city and the Mississippi River stretching out below. The museum at the base is really informative too, with lots of interesting exhibits about America's westward expansion. Definitely a must-see if you're in the area!

Another landmark down and many more to go. The arch looks much smaller just passing by, but it's a monster once you get up close and personal. I didn't know the interior of the arch was accessible, nor did I know there's a museum at the lower section. Once I made it on the inside, I noticed there was access to the top of the arch. I got a chance to view downtown St. Louis from a bird eye view and it was amazing. Whether it's just walking around the park or exploring the interior; it's a wonderful place to spend half of a day.

We were in Missouri for the solar eclipse, so afterwards we went up to St Louis, cause we all wanted to see the arch. And it's very cool and impressive. When I was a trucker I passed by it innumerable times, but seeing it up close is much better. There was a cool little park outside, and the view at night is excellent. You can get inside easily, but if you want to go to the top you should purchase your tickets in advance, because they limit the number of people that can be at the top at a time. Also, you have to go through park security to go to the top, but its very quick. If you're claustrophobic you probably won't enjoy going up, but you can look out at the great view from the top. And they have a nice gift shop. Personally, I enjoyed seeing it from outside the best, but it was cool going to the top, and I don't regret it.

The arch is DEFINITELY a worthwhile trip! We booked tickets to go up into the arch, and it was so fun! The tram ride isn't the most comfortable especially if you have more than a couple of people in the car (it's only about 4ish feet wide), but the ride is 4 minutes up and 3 minutes down. The views from the top are amazing!!!We enjoyed the museum while we waited for our tram ride. Learning how the arch was built was interesting. It's an engineering marvel. The green space outside the arch is a nice place to hang out. Getting through security for the tram and museum was also quick. Overall, we loved visiting and hope to return again soon!

It was a massive arch! It's also cool that the width and the length are the same! (630 feet). At the entrance, they have a little example room of what you take up the arch! They have a cool museum to look at while you wait for your tram up. The security is a bit like a airport where you put metal items in bins.Theres a line to get to the tram entrance. Once you get past the line,You get a tour guide that tells you history about the arch and other things. The trams a bit wiggly while it rides to the top, but it's worth it when you see the stunning views from the top of the arch! Didn't find where you can exit from the arch legs,But doesn't change a thing! Great!

This was totally awesome once you got to the top. We bought tickets in advance for the 1:15 time slot. It took about an hour to go through the whole process before you actually got to the top. Once you're up there, it's an incredible view! The 5-person pod that you take to get to the top is tiny, for people under 6' tall. I barely fit inside. Overall, it was still a fun and exciting experience! Thank you, St Louis Gateway Arch

Not my first trip to the arch but the first time bringing my kids. It is an impressive engineering feat if nothing else. The Arch is something you must see once in your life just to see how it was built and seeing the great expanse looking west from the top of the arch. It’s amazing that people looked west and just headed out hoping things would just work out. The museum under the arch is well done. We bought a package deal with the movie and boat ride included. I would pass on the package unless you’re planning on spending most of the day at the arch. We were tight on time because we had other things to do in St. Louis so that was probably not the best package for us. You can watch the movie on YouTube on your way to the Arch as another option.

Great history!! A must if you’re in town. You walk thru a museum and then it’s a short ride to the top. Must buy tickets and make reservations. So check before you come because sometimes it’s booked for days. Great views from the top

the arch is cool, the park is pretty, you get to see the river, city hell, downtown. Very pleasant place to walk. Its just disappointing that the museum and the tram close so early. Would have been nice to have gone up there during my layover. Why not have rides up and down at sunset? Or at night when you can see all the lights? I think people would really enjoy that.

Best place to visit. Clean and well-maintained museum. The staff is supportive and shows their willingness to help. The tram to the top is the best experience for everyone. Please do not miss it. Those 10 minutes on the top give a beautiful North and south city view. Highly recommend booking a tram ticket in advance as those tickets get booked faster.

It was really easy to book tickets to the arch and riverboat online. Inside was the arch museum and building was very well air conditioned so that was nice after doing a lot of walking. The ride up and down was quick and safe. I would not recommend if you are claustrophobic at all. There's 4 to 5 people per car so be prepared to be in tight quarters with strangers if you're not in a big group. The riverboat tour was nice especially in the evening because it wasn't too hot. Our guide was very informative and funny. I would do the riverboat again and recommend the arch to anyone who is visiting St. Louis

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is a must-see for history buffs. With an expansive array of exhibits, the center tells the full story of Lincoln's life in unique ways. The multimedia installations and hologram theater make it one of a kind, making it one of the most popular attractions in town.
There's no better place to learn about the life of Abe Lincoln than at this museum.I would recommend it for families or school groups. Personally, the ideal minimum age is probably around 10+ as getting the most out of each exhibit requires patience and reading. My boys are a bit younger and it was tough for them to stay focused till the end.Any weather conditions are fine because the museum is entirely indoors. It was pouring rain during our visit; the staff was kind enough to offer plastic bags to house each of our wet umbrellas.Don't bother bringing food or drinks in. They won't allow them, but if you forget you can rent a locker for a quarter. You should allocate 3-4 hours of time here in order to enjoy each exhibit and both theatre shows.Keep an eye out for the Abe Lincoln impersonator that will occasionally pop out and roam around. He's happy to greet you and discuss anything from his life, including his wrestling career!!You won't regret your visit here.

This Museum is AWESOME. For everyone who wants to know about Abraham Lincoln's life, I highly recommend it . Mostly, don't miss none of the projection shows. We weren't able to see all due to some technical issues they are having that day and one show was cancelled. All the museum's employees were great. Thank you

Made my semi-annual visit to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum this afternoon and it never seizes to immerse my curiosity and attention. Very cool being able to view an original copy of the Gettysburg Address written in Lincoln's own hand. The two theater shows are both absolutely incredible. Both sections of Lincoln's life are fabulously brought to life. As an historian, I fully appreciate every aspect of this museum and can't wait to return.

Really nice museum. It has a ton of stuff to look at, very well presented. You will learn things you never knew. Covers Lincoln’s life from his childhood to his death. There are a couple shows that are worth a watch, too. Kids and history buffs alike will enjoy this.

Went for the first time today and it was wonderful! There is so much to read and learn that I’m sure I missed a lot! The exhibits are wonderfully done, so many beautiful things to see. They have many authentic pieces behind glass and they had 2 amazing short shows today, they were so neat! Definitely not what I thought I was walking into. The staff was very nice, helpful, and informative. I will definitely be back and I’m sure I will find a ton that I missed! I also strongly suggest doing the scavenger hunt they provide, it makes you really look for the information and adds some extra excitement to it! They have an online version or a hard copy!Even the gift shop had a ton of cool stuff!! I couldn’t believe this experience was only $15! A really good price for the education and fun! The staff also informed us a new exhibit will be opening in March, I am excited to go back and see it!

I learned so much about Abraham Lincoln at the Museum. It was educational. I was very intrigued by the map that showed the progression of the Civil War, with the names of the battles and how much territory was gained/lost, and how many deaths. I didn’t realize how much heck he got from the press. There is a whole section of cartoons from the newspapers at the time of the elections through the Presidency. I also didn’t know that Booth was a fairly well known actor. This is definitely a must see! We did walk over to the Library too, but to look at the books you need an appointment. But there were a few things displayed around the main floor you could look at.

The Abe Lincoln Museum is really remarkable. So many exhibits and each with detailed plaques of information. There is two different theaters which have shows running all day which I highly recommend checking out. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the gift shop is full of unique items. This museum is my go to place just to be reminded of history or anytime I need some inspiration for a paper or book I am working on. I also recommend reading each exhibit and soaking in everything instead of just quickly walking through.

I really enjoyed my visit with my 9 year old and his 4th grade class. We all learned alot! Thank you for having us and we will return.Ooo please add parking for visitors that part really sucked.

This was such a fun experience! I haven't been here since I came with a field trip. Today I got today take my children through the museum and share those experiences and memories with them. Our kids are 9 and 11 and both found the museum and theatres very entertaining and educational. We really enjoyed how Lincoln is portrayed as a real human with flaws, as opposed to just "the legend". My only critique is the Cafe. There was little to no selection for food ,( I think it was just hot dogs, chilli for dogs, and pulled pork?) Only throwing that in for parents with young kids who are picky. We also visited on a Thursday morning, so that may have played a part? Either way, it was an amazing experience, highly recommend checking this out! There was a traveling experience for you've kids(10 and under), and we didn't check that out since both kids couldn't go in.

The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum was surprisingly very interesting. They had a couple of interactive theaters that lasted around 15-17 minutes each. An exhibit of how they thought Abraham was raised. That exhibit has a fun scavanger hunt. They have an exhibit of different presidents and their history. And, of course, the political life of Abraham Lincoln all of the way to his assassination.I would suggest calling ahead if you would like a group tour. Otherwise, you are welcome to walk in and pay. They don't allow food, drink, or gum.I would say to take a good 4 hours here soaking it all in. They do have a gift shop with interesting little things to buy like huckleberry syrup.

It’s one of the best museum in town. We learn so much and had a one to one guidance with rich information about the president life, from his birth, his childhood, his manhood, his personal learning and self education, his family, his stressful but always forwarding life as a son, husband, father, lawyer and president. I feel impressed for his humbleness in every stage of his life

Very nice museum. Not a lot of artifacts but a lot of information and displays. The first show as you go in really impressed my kids. Done with holograms. Well done.

The Abraham Lincoln Home National Historic Site is a house where Abraham Lincoln lived and worked from 1844 to 1861. The house is located in downtown Springfield, Illinois, and visitors can learn about the life of Lincoln as a lawyer, politician and finally as President of the United States during their tours.
We stopped in here on our national park tour that we do.It was amazing it was very well done. The home is well restored and exactly like it was when Lincoln lived there. The staff at the visitor center was friendly and helpful and helped answer all of our questions. The movie is nice to see and well worth the time

It had been 20 years since my wife and I had been here. We were in town few a couple of days so we returned. It was very nice and informative! We keep up! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Enjoyed it and refreshed our memories!

This was a great little stop on our road trip through Springfield. While you did have to pay for parking if you parked in the lot, which was inexpensive, the rest of it all was free. It was interesting to see and hear about Lincoln’s life and walk through his home. The tour guide was helpful and kind. They shared a plethora of information. Definitely stop by if you find yourself in Springfield.
Denai C — Google review
Starting with Ranger Josh, he was very clear, full of information and answered many questions. You can park in the lot or as we did, found 2 hour free parking immediately adjacent to the site. More than just the Lincoln house, the restoration of a block to the time period was great to see with many informative placards. Go to the visitors center to get your free ticket for the guided tour as this is the only way to enter. The interior is amazing with Lincoln originals, antiques and restorations. Spent just over an hour and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a must do for anyone coming close to Springfield! You get to walk through the only home Abraham Lincoln ever owned! It is furnished with most of his original furniture. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Admission is free, you just have to get tickets before your tour. The parking lot is a pay lot. It was busy today so we got tickets for later in the day. That way we had time to go though the Lincoln presidential library. Which was excellent as well. I highly recommend everyone to come and enjoy this experience!

This historic site was bustling with visitors when I visited. I was able to get a free ticket for a tour of Lincoln’s home upon arrival. The home was well-preserved and had two staircases, something unheard of in most modern homes. The young tour guide (I believe his name was Alec) was very energetic and passionate about his work. Apparently, it was his childhood dream to work at the site. His positive energy really enhanced the tour. The cross streets where the home sat were closed to vehicle traffic, which made exploring the surrounding area easy and safe.Though they charged for parking, I was able to find free street parking nearby.

Great site to tour. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. The home itself has quite a few period artifacts from the Lincolns personal collection as well as furniture used by the Lincoln family. This is the only home that Mr. Lincoln owned prior to moving to the White House. It is also where his children were born and died as well.It is best to get there early to avoid the large school bus tours that begin to show up as the day progresses. It is definitely worth the stop and visit. And it is free of charge.

What a great gem in the state of Illinois! This site is part of the National Park System, so if you collect stamps be sure to bring your passport book! The site is free to tour, however you do have to pay for parking. Parking was reasonably priced. The site includes a visitor center along with President Lincoln’s home and many of the homes that were in the neighborhood. What makes President Lincoln’s home so unique is that the house was made a museum relatively shortly after he was assassinated. The home still contains many original pieces that belonged to the Lincoln family along with some antiques and replicas. You truly step back into time and get to walk in the footsteps of President Lincoln and his family. During our visit the site had a variety of additional activities that you could participate in for free. We did a walk and talk of the neighborhood where we learned more about the residents of the neighborhood.I would not recommend this tour for young children as they typically do not have the patience for a tour like this nor will they be able to appreciate what they are learning. I would suggest ages 10 and up.Photos are encouraged on this tour!

Since I stopped in Lincoln, NE…On the way back, May as well stop by Springfield, IL to see the home of Lincoln.Very nice, historic site. This block of the street is blocked off, walk in only. You will get to the house and eventually by the end of the street and at the end of the block, there will be the presidential library!Nice, very nice walk!

The cost of the tour is minimal..you get an upclose view of his Springfield home. The video they show beforehand is really informative. They have a very hands-on home with all kinds of interactive activities for children. It's a great place to take a class field trip to see.

Visited during my road trip in late June and early July last year, the beautifully restored house where Abraham Lincoln lived for the last 20 years before he launched his presidential campaign offers a superb insight into life in the mid-18th century. Thanks to the cultural guides for their explanations during the tour. I did another tour later because I couldn't understand everything the young guide was saying, as she spoke too quickly. I could have asked her to speak more slowly.

Pretty awesome site in downtown Springfield. They have almost like two blocks closed off for the Lincoln Home and other historic sites nearby. The visitors center is nice, with a movie about Lincoln. Plus there is a gift shop if that's your thing. But the Lincoln Home is well preserved. This site brings aot of people even in the off season, so be prepared for a crowd, especially kids.

A very interesting and educational place to visit. There’s a neighborhood consisting of two blocks of historic houses, including Abraham & Mary Todd Lincoln’s house. You can go into three of the homes to see exhibits, and then the Lincoln home requires a no-charge ticket to go inside. The visitor center is nice and the gift shop is well-stocked.

Good tour of Lincoln’s home while he lived in Springfield. The tour was informative and they recreated the family home from period drawing. Not all Lincoln family furnishings but close to original. Tour was free and relatively short. The facility has many other homes that have historic significance on the same street. Good place to visit before moving on to the Museum up the street.

Top notch. Very good docent.TIP#1. Go directly to the visitor center to request FREE tour tickets. We arrived at about 930 AM on a Friday. The Soonest available tour was noon.Tip #2. Tour meets INSIDE the visitor center NOT outside the home!Tip#3. Arrive 10 minutes before tour start time.Tip #4. The introductory film is WORTH your time = very well done.Tip #5. Actual tour could feel a bit claustrophobic for some.... if you are prone to this, then just hang at the rear of the group.Tip #6. The self guided walking tour is a good way to spend time between getting tickets and the guided Lincoln Home Tour.***NO CHEWING GUM ALLOWED***

Visiting the Lincoln Home was a great experience, and the tickets are free, which is a nice bonus! The house is beautifully preserved, and it's amazing to step into such an important piece of history. However, our tour guide seemed like he was going through a bit of a mental breakdown, which made the entire group feel awkward at times. Despite that, I’d still recommend visiting for the historical value.

Wonderful experience visiting Lincoln’s house and surrounding area. You have to get tickets to tour his home from the visitor’s center and its first come, first served. They opened on Sunday at 9 AM and we needed to continue on our road trip. We arrived 55 minutes early to ensure we would get the first the first tour times and were first in line. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the area and history. The women in the gift shop were kind and even refunded our order and redid it with an educator discount when she heard we were teachers. Amazing experience! Our 9 and 10 year old loved it, too!

Cute stop. I learned a lot about Lincoln’s home life and some of the stuff in the house was authentic so it felt important that it’s being protected. It’s a whole neighborhood to explore. The tour with the ranger was Interesting and he was knowledgeable and helpful and excited to share his knowledge. It’s not a dog friendly spot! There are restrooms in the visitor center. There are picnic tables.

Very cool piece of history. The tour doesn't cost anything and includes 3 additional houses as well, you do have to pay for parking (I think it was something like $4 for the 2 hours we were there). You tour the Lincoln house with a guide and the other 3 on your own. The houses have air-conditioning and there is plenty of seating outside the homes. There are steps involved in these tours, not a lot, but something to be aware of. The gift shop was cute and the informative theater video was worth watching. Everyone there was very friendly and knowledgeable. Really glad we stopped in!

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari is a seasonal amusement park that provides rides suitable for all age groups. Along with the rides, visitors can also enjoy variety shows and dining venues. The park features several roller coasters including The Voyage, Thunderbird, Raven, and Legend which are highly recommended by coaster enthusiasts. Thunderbird is especially noteworthy as it is considered one of the best wing coasters in the United States with an impressive launch.
Great amusement park and fantastic water park... not overly crowded and lines for rides are normally tolerable. We stay 2 days 1 day on park rides and one day in the water park. We always stay at lake Rudolf and ride the shuttle to and from the park. Great place for young and old alike! Lots of walking and several hills to climb! But worth it!

We had an absolute blast! First roller coaster experience for our kids- 5 and 7. And we weren't sure how much they could do or would want to do. But they loved every bit of it, and we were thoroughly impressed with how much was accessible to them. Love the free sunscreen and drinks, 2 things we don't have to worry about that we typically have to. We'll definitely be back. The kids are already planning what they want to ride next time.

This is a delightful Park theme to different major holidays. It is very clean and they have a good ride. Compliment. One notable point would be their massive wooden coasters. They are well maintained and extremely thrilling. Tney do not charge for soft drinks, parking is complimentary as is sunscreen.

Great place for a family getaway. I was really surprised at how clean the park was. It was well kept, something for everyone. I definitely recommend getting a locker for the day. It just makes life easier. There will definitely be lines, so plan ahead. Food options are decent, and they have multiple buildings to get out of the heat. Having unlimited and free (nonalcoholic) drinks around the park is a plus. Alcohol is available for purchase by responsible adults. All the lifeguards I saw there were attentive and professional. No complaints. Thanks!

one of my favorite parks in the world for a multitude of reasons. you will never meet a bad staff member here, everyone is always so welcoming and happy to assist and it’s such a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of other parks. the rides are unbelievably good as well (the voyage is the greatest ride ever built in my opinion), with a lot of options for families and thrill seekers. the food is also great, with some of my favorite park snacks anywhere; the blue ice cream is a must every visit. free sunscreen and free drinks just bring this already wonderful place over the top. i come every year for holiwood nights and every time i leave i want to go back immediately. love this place to death

I had such a fun time here! The rides are great with excellent theming. The food is reasonably priced compared to other amusement parks. There's free soda machines with Pepsi products. Parking is free too. This was my first time seeing a Drone Show and it was cool to see it set to music and watching the 500 drones move. Plus there were surprise fireworks at the end. Loved The Voyage and Good Gravy roller coasters.

Wow! My wife talked about going here when she was a kid and I kinda thought she was hyping it up being nostalgic. But this place was more amazing than what she made it to be. The kids love the water park aspect and we appreciated that most of the rides could be ridden by all of us at the same time. Lines were mostly short waits of 5-10 minutes with the longest being the Mammoth and Cheetah rides (45 min each). There was so much to do and see and we were unable to enjoy the entire park on a day. Next time we will take advantage of the 2nd day discount. We also ate there - lunch for the kids was $15 each and there’s more than enough food. The pizza plate is 2 slices and 2 breadsticks. Our youngest couldn’t finish it. We really appreciated the free drinks throughout the day. Drink stations were super clean and stocked. They have Gatorade for electrolytes which was nice. We ate dinner in Thanksgiving at the cafe and the food was awesome - just like having Thanksgiving dinner in July. All employees all day were super friendly and helpful no matter where we were. I think this will be a yearly thing for us now. Also - stay for the drone show and fireworks - that was super well done.

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari: A Fantastic Weekend GetawayI visited Holiday World at the end of August for a weekend getaway and had an overall great experience. We purchased tickets online for Saturday and ended up buying additional tickets at the park for Sunday. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which really enhanced the experience. However, because the park is closed during the week in August, Saturday was extremely busy. We arrived about 30 minutes after the park opened, and the parking lot was already full—a mistake on our part. Due to the long lines, we only had time to ride four water attractions that day.Sunday was a different story. We arrived 30 minutes before the park opened and were among the first in line to enter. This made a huge difference! We were able to ride The Voyage twice, The Thunderbird three times, and then we changed into our swimwear to enjoy the water rides. The park has lockers available, which made storing our belongings convenient. The variety of things to do is truly endless. From the rides to the gift shops and dining options, there’s something for everyone. Although we didn’t eat inside the park, it was great that we could pack a cooler and return to our vehicle for meals, as re-entry is allowed. Another standout feature is the unlimited free soft drinks, including water, which adds great value to the visit. It was an amazing experience for the whole family. My kids had a blast, and we’re already looking forward to returning in theThey also serve adult beverages 🍻

This was our first visit. We drove 5 1/2 hours to come visit. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and abundance of activities/rides. We had 3 adults and 3 kids. Kids were 14 yo, 11 yo, and 5 yo. There was something for everyone. The free soft drinks and sunscreen are a much appreciated added bonus. Getting both parks for the price was also a plus. Wish we lived closer. I would definitely take advantage of a season pass.

Had a mini family vacation at Holiday World. Haven't been in a few years. All the kids enjoyed themselves. The weather was nice, so waiting in line was not miserable. Having unlimited drinks available is always a plus. Didn't have an opportunity to ride the newest ride. Very nice place to bring the family.

Great family place. Lines were not long for Friday/Saturday. The water park was really fun. Wooden roller-coaster were a blast. Food selection was very good. Garlic cheese curds, frozen hot chocolate, and Dippin chicken-potatoes with gravy were all hits of the family.

Our kids love this place. The fact that you can go back and forth to the water park and the theme park and it's all within the gates is amazing.Free parking, free drinks, and free sunscreen. The rides are pretty good, The magic show this year was great and the water park is absolutely top notch. The only thing that is meh is All of the food. It's nothing to write home about. I'm guessing because they lose money not having people pay for parking or drinks that the quality of the food is subpar. That's my guess. It's not stopping us from coming back though. It's just basic fair food.

We love the theming in the four different holiday sections. They have free parking, sunscreen and fountain drinks! The park is very clean and well maintained. They have a wide variety of family rides with some pretty big coasters as well! We have been here many times and always have a great time!

I want to start off by saying we are used to Cedar Point. We visited during Happy Halloween so we did not get to experience the water park. We all had a great time and plan to make this a yearly event. The park is well kept, clean and maintained. Everyone was happy with the rides, the coasters were amazing. Thunder Bird gets high marks from the family. The Voyage was great, a little extreme for myself but it was an experience. As a bigger guy I was able to fit, barely, in all coasters.

My favorite amusement park. Free parking, drinks, and sunscreen is just the beginning. my kids are young and aren't interested in roller coasters yet but they love plenty of the rides here to fill up two days of fun. We have come here for 3 years in a row as it has become a family tradition. The blue ice cream is one of my favorites. I also had Thanksgiving dinner for the first time today with plenty of good gravy. It was way better than I expected. I also rode the cheetah water coaster for the first time and that is also a must. The park always feels so clean and inviting. I hope all the hunter green in Christmas land never fades.

This was my first visit to Holiday World a few days ago as a weekday trip with my nephew. We drove a few hours from Ohio and we really enjoyed our visit. My first impression of the park was the cleanliness of the park, from the parking lot to the walkways and bathrooms. The four themed areas of the park (Christmas (upon entering), Halloween, Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving) each with their own music, rides, shops, and dining offer a nice experience and show attention to detail. The water park is integrated into the main theme park and offers a lot of attractions. We enjoyed the "lazy river" and the wave pool. One nice addition is the opportunity to purchase swimwear/gear in the water park if you have forgotten to bring something. As this is a smaller family-owned park it is very walkable and not too much time is needed to journey from one area to the next, although there are some hilly areas so bring gym/walking shoes. Our visit on a Thursday was not very crowded and we did not have to wait long to get on the rides. As we are fans of roller coasters we rode all five of the large coasters with my favorite being the Voyage, a wooden coaster that really takes you for a ride following the terrain and I can only describe as intense! There are also plenty of rides for younger children as well. The park offers a picnic shelter next to the parking lot before going through the main gate, which was a nice place to enjoy a packed lunch partway through the day after getting a wrist stamp to return. The park also has trams on site to return guests to the parking lot if needed. The fireworks and drone show at the end of the night was a nice way to end the day.Overall my impression was the admission price is very fair as it includes parking, free drinks (from pop to water and sports drinks) at the many drinks stations throughout the park and includes free sunscreen dispensers at various locations (although we had brought our own). Everyone we talked to throughout the park that day from staff members to other guests were very friendly and helpful and this added to the enjoyment of our visit. For me it felt like taking a step back to a simpler, more relaxed moment in amusement park time.If you have never been, I would highly recommend coming out for a visit.

Lotz House Museum is a historic house museum in Franklin, Tennessee that has exhibits about the history of the Civil War and German immigrants.
We visited the Lotz House this week during the Christmas/New Year Break. Our tour guide was Thomas and he was fantastic. Trust me, this tour is worth it and if you’re lucky enough to get Thomas as your guide, you will have a great, educational and entertaining visit.

My family loves anything history related, so finding out about this house was exciting for us. With a shockingly low price, it's absolutely worth that and a donation. Our guide, Chuck, was so funny and extremely knowledgeable about not only the Lotz family history, but about other history during the time period that added to the information. He was so patient and open to all questions we asked. Go high school history teachers! Something unique about this experience is that you actually get to go into the rooms instead of just looking through a doorway, and the history is extremely well preserved! I don't think I've ever been on a tour this interactive. Beyond the quality of the tour, all of the people helping to run the home were so kind and completely embodied southern hospitality. They also offer ghost tours! Overall, it was absolutely worth it and if you love history and learning about it head on, this is the experience for you.

Will was our tour guide, and I have to admit, I'm not much for historical tours... but this one had my interest from beginning to end. He made each room's details entertaining, switching between past and present to make the history come to life. The people in our tour asked plenty of questions because they were engaged by Will's presentation. I wished there were more rooms to learn about when he was done... it was fun learning about the different Lotz family members.

We stopped at the Lotz House Museum this summer while on a road trip. Our kids (15, 14, 12) complain that we drag them to far too many boring historical sites, but all three of them enjoyed this tour, and they insisted that I should leave a review. We visited on a Sunday morning in July. We waited for about ten minutes for a few more people to gather before the tour began, and we enjoyed browsing the gift shop and the small collection of artifacts (many of which were connected with interesting stories) while we waited.Chuck, our high school history teacher turned tour guide, made history come alive with the quotes and personal details he shared that revealed individual people's experience of the Battle of Franklin. Our tour was about 75 minutes, and it left a lasting impression. The 15-year-old said, "I thought it would be boring, but the guide was actually really interesting to listen to."According to the 14-year-old, "That tour was cooler than most because it didn't overwhelm you with information, it told the story of one family's experience. Information isn't interesting, but story is."And the 12-year-old insisted, "You need to leave a review to tell people that the guide was really funny."Those who have trouble standing for long periods or climbing stairs would struggle on this tour, though there were a few seats available in the entryway where our tour began. If you can manage it, though, this tour was definitely worthwhile. Three generations give it a thumbs-up!

I have not had such a good tour until today with Chuck. He was the best. Full of information and facts as well as good jokes and made the tour so great for my family and also my young kids. They were explained the information so they understood. I recommend you take this tour with Chuck hands down. Super great and sweet man.

Chuck was great!!! He was so sweet and let me join his tour. I love that he's a retired history teacher and how knowledgeable he was about the Lotz family. He gave a great tour and he interacted with everyone on the tour. I totally recommend going to Lotz House. Ask him about the tour with the 3 exchange students. Yes, he will tell you about the ghost.

Chuck, the tour guide, gave us an A1 tour of the house. (His bushy mustache gave him a unique appearance.). Very personable and provided plenty of details about the house and battle. History came alive as we walked through the house and battlefield not far from house. Well worth the visit!

Live music venue
The Ryman Auditorium, known as the "Mother Church of Country Music," is a renowned live performance venue located in Nashville, Tennessee. Formerly called the Grand Ole Opry House and the Union Gospel Tabernacle, this historic 2,362-seat auditorium holds a significant place in entertainment history.
Fantastic shows both Friday and Saturday. I love the residency program it makes my drive more affordable when I can catch multiple shows! The staff as always was outstanding the lines for concessions and bathrooms moved well and we're not outlandish. My balcony seats were outstanding and the sound top notch. The best at any venue I've been in. The place was clean also. Nice that they have a band in the courtyard while waiting to enter. Bravo! My wait time to get in included me showing up an hour early to get a Hatch Print. I always meet music lovers so I don't mind.

This is by far one of the most beautiful venues I've been in for a show. It is just as grand as it seems, and it feels special on the inside and the outside. The acoustics are tremendous, and no matter where you are sitting it feels like you are being enveloped by the sound of whoever is playing at the time. On top of that, if the audience is singing with the artist, it does feel like being in a church in the best possible way. I love how well preserved it has been, and the stained glass windows are stunning. I can't say there is a bad seat in the auditorium, either, especially in the balcony. My one criticism is that I think they could do with some extra padding on the pews, because as beautiful as they are, they are still in fact wooden pews. All in all, this was an incredible experience and I would recommend anyone who gets the chance to see a show in Ryman Auditorium.

We didn’t know what to expect when we came for the tour but it was very nicely done. The short movie and effects was very well made. The exhibits were quite minimal though and it isn’t advertised well but you can take a free photograph on the stage! It will be taken by a photographer for you, printed and available to pick up in the gift store. The gift store was also reasonably priced.

Loved the opening video on the history of the place. Never knew it was mainly a woman who managed the place for many years! We didn't get to see a show, but you can tell it would be an amazing experience. It's so cozy, and the vibe is just something. We did the self tour, I feel like we got a good view of the whole place.

Fantastic for a short tour! We enjoyed this historic building and tour. Got some great photo ops and the staff was all great. Disney put together a very good video to start the tour.I wish I caught the staff guy's name, who went out of his way to help a couple old ladies with canes (not me). I didn't know the ladies, but I could see they were so happy that someone took time to help them have a great experience.

This is a must see when your in Nashville. We took a tour , was only able to do the self guided at the time. Lots to see on the inside , so much history there . We were able to go back that night to a concert (Charlie Crockett) it was amazing!! Sound is great inside the Ryman. I would definitely go back again.

Cool experience, but I didn't know if it's worth the self guided tour ticket price. This is THE historic building in Nashville if you're into county music, and they know that when they hit you with the price of tickets for the self guided tour. And while it's cool to actually be there, there is much better information in your average YouTube video about the building. The video they show you is well done and has some great info, but it's about 10 minutes long and really skips over a great deal. You didn't have access to much with the regular tour. I felt like I paid a lot for the privilege of walking up some stairs and looking at the stage from the balcony level. We weren't even allowed on the stage because of an event that was going to happen that evening.Overall, meh.

So much musical history in one place. Had a great experience learning about all the great musicians that have played here. Take the tour, you will love it.

I had a ticket to a show in the evening and decided to take the self-guided tour earlier in the day. I bought my ticket I site and not in advance. There was just a short wait for the tour to begin. thoroughly enjoyed this experience. They show you a short film to start on the history of the building. Then you take yourself throughout the building. They had some artist memorabilia showcased and you get a free picture of yourself at the end of the tour - free print and then $5 to purchase a digital download. The staff/volunteers were all friendly and knowledgeable. The Johnny Cash bus was on-site and that was accessible with your tour ticket. The sound and energy during the show I saw that evening was incredible. I highly recommend taking the tour and seeing a live show here!! I’m sure I will be back! Also - I had purchased a seat that said obstructed view at the end of an aisle (section 3 - row M) and I can assure you my visibility was not that obstructed.

Beautiful place with such a rich history. Amazing acoustics. Such a great experience! We saw Ricky Skaggs with Kentucky Thunder. I’m not a huge bluegrass fan but it was amazing to watch and listen to what they can do. So glad I was able to be there.

Nashville really is just the coolest! We thoroughly enjoyed both shows we’ve seen at the Ryman Auditorium. It is such a cool building and venue but as you can see by the view from the lower level, it’s a little harder to see the stage. However, when we saw Girl in Red and were on the upper level, the view was great. The church pew seating is unique and more comfortable than many arena seats. We also love that they sold snack foods at the bars.

Attended the Robert Earl Keen show! Wow! A wonderful time. Loved his stories and especially his music! The Ryman is the Mother church of country music!! His opening act Kaitlin Butts was adorable! Loved her music too! We were thrilled this was on the schedule during our visit to Nashville!

This was a fun little tour that I got to do with my business group when we visited Nashville, Tennessee, for a conference. It was fun to learn about the theater that once housed the Grand Ole Oppry radio station. Getting to learn and see where all the artists performed and lived their dreams. The theater was amazing, and you don't even think from seeing it from the outside the stage it has inside. We only had about 30 mins to walk through the place because our tour was a bit behind from our first stop. Regardless, it was amazing to see and walk through hiatory. Check it out, the even had an Elvis exhibit.

Back stage tour was great, if you go, get the guided tour. So much history! Not just the old Grand Ol Opry, so much more. Also ask about the ghosts. They should really do a spooky tour for Halloween when they don't have performances. The movie was AMAZING! If you're in Nashville and love history, this is a must see.

I went here for a show (The Infamous Stringdusters + Leftover Salmon) while I was in town and it was so fun! I didn't have time to do the tour beforehand, but hopefully next time! The acoustics were unreal 😍.Although...maybe ear plugs would be a good idea. It's a perfectly intimate setting and so cool to be in the same space where so much country music history took place. I LOVED the pews - was worried we would be super cramped but we had plenty of space and it wasn't uncomfortable. Our seats were in the balcony (halfway back) and I was worried it wouldn't be as good so far back, but there really isn't a "bad seat" in the place (although I read ahead that the acoustics sitting toward the back underneath the balcony aren't quite as good).Wonderful experience and can't wait to come back.

The Ryman Tour and the two concerts were truly incredible! The venue offered fantastic views from every seat, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

Nice, historic venue. Great film at the start of the tour detailing history of the venue. Great to walk around and see the building and how they were setting up for a show that night. I hope to catch a show here sometime. I recommend balcony seats or lower up front.

Been to some world renowned theatre so this one isn’t the most impressive building. But the history enriched the venue is memorable.Big shout out to Mrs Lula Naff who made this theatre special.

The “Back Stage Tour” brings you through multiple dressing rooms each with a brief story and the opportunity to walk on the stage. Worth the additional $10 for the approximately 45 min tour with unlimited time afterwards to explore the auditorium and displays on your own. Both General and Back Stage admissions include a nice souvenir portrait taken in front of the stage that can be picked up in the gift shop. Interesting historical venue well worth the time and money - check it out.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum showcases the rich history of American music through its collection of artifacts and interactive displays. Situated in downtown Nashville's vibrant District, this attraction brings the city to life, especially at night. Alongside the famous honky tonk bars, visitors can explore shops, restaurants, and historic music landmarks. Just a short distance away is Centennial Park, which offers unique features such as a full-scale replica of the Greek Parthenon.
This place had some really cool things in it and so many things to look at! It had outfit of what the singers wore in their most popular songs and the records and everything! It's just an amazing place you have to visit if you're ever in Nashville!

My visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame was an unforgettable experience! The exhibits are beautifully curated, showcasing the rich history and legends of country music. From iconic instruments to stage outfits, there’s so much to see, and the interactive displays make it even more engaging. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the genre, this place is a must-see for anyone who appreciates music and its history

A very well designed performance venue! Right from the entrance, this place had a good vibe, which to me, sets the stage for a well rounded, enjoyable evening. The gals at the information desk/will call were quite upbeat and helpful. Then you go through security - which didn't feel nearly as intimidating as so many other venues do, even though you must empty your pockets before proceeding. The ushers on each entrance all had a warm welcoming presence, and were very helpful. I saw The Dixie Dregs and The Steve Morse Band, and was seated literally above the drums, so being a drummer, I was in heaven! I did check out the sound at several other locations throughout, and it was very good everywhere, not to mention, every seat in the venue, is good viewing as well. The biggest improvement that could be easily made, would be to aim the speakers slightly more flanged for better clarity in the uppermost seats as well as a bit more definition on the low end, to bring it together a little tighter and punchier. Perfect otherwise!

A nice touristy place to visit during your trip in Nashville. A bit overpriced for the basic exhibit offered, but plenty to learn inside. A lot of memorabilia, costumes, and music facts inside.Good to visit as a one off :)

A Nashville tourist must! Such a cool experience immersing in the birth of country music and the influence it has had on other genres. I would recommend going early like at 9am when they open. Beats most of the crowds. Also order tickets online to make check in a breeze. The Luke Combs display was so neat…personal sentiments and notes from writing songs. It’s like you go on the journey with him.All the other exhibits are great as well! It is cold so might want to bring a jacket!

Don’t miss this museum! It’s a treasure trove of art, history, memorabilia, music, and fun. We enjoyed each exhibit and took our time working our way through this beautiful building. The museum offers the best multi-generational offerings I’ve ever experienced with country music. We were blown away by everything we saw, including a live performance in the auditorium at the beginning of our visit. Don’t hesitate—go and enjoy!

Great relatively quick museum with lots to look at, listen to, and learn. The studio B tour was a highlight. Ron was an excellent and engaging tour guide and I learned a lot. I really enjoyed experiencing a lot of music in the place it was recorded.Only small thing I didn’t like was that the bus started driving before I sat down. I was the last passenger on board and I’m 6 months pregnant and almost stumbled forward when the bus started moving as I was still trying to get to my seat (only open seat was the last row).Everything else was great and — again — Ron was a fantastic guide.

The County Music Hall Of Fame Is Absolutely Fabulous! There's a gift shop and there's a music venue and the so many other aspects of the Hall. There's a museum, but it was closed when we arrived. We were going to a concert. The show was amazing and the concert Hall is AWESOME! It's like 4 stories high and the sound is totally amazing. I can hardly wait to visit the Hall of Fame again. Definitely if you get to Nashville, this is a must see. So very awesome!

Friendly staff, professional and courteous. Enjoyed the whole museum. 3rd floor definitely a family favorite with Elvis' gold plated Cadillac and the great Webb Pierce's Nudie Mobile!! So many awesome displays throughout. No matter what genre of music you enjoy the most, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is full of ground breaking musical history for all music. Make sure to give yourself a couple hours to get through the whole thing without rushing. There was some remodeling on 2nd floor anytime of our visit which caused a nit of a bottleneck in the natural flow of folks but still very enjoyable experience. Family loved it

For me I didn't know about the history of country music, so this place will guide you through it. Very well-designed museum and entertaining.Proper for children, elderly and people with special needs. The admission fee for the standard tour is around 30 US$ you can add 5 US$ For an audio guide, while they have also off-site tours with prices starting at 51US$

This is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. Fun museum with a lot of memorabilia from all eras of country music. New country your thing, lots of that. Old twangy country is your thing, they have that as well! Tickets are $30 to enter, but if you are military, first responder or even just have triple A, you can get in for $27.

Great museum with lots to see and some fun interactive exhibits. The only thing I would caution is to make sure you have time, the museum was packed (even with timed entry). So there was a lot of waiting to see exhibits and not a lot of direction or flow for people. Take it at your own pace and be patient, it's quite larger and took us almost 2 hours to get through at a pretty steady pace.

A big thank you to the country music Hall of Fame for hosting the principals association membership party 2024! This is a beautiful building and wonderful museum. They are adding some really neat current items which includes interactive and kid friendly items and hands on activities!!We spent a couple of hours + here and watched the presentations, recorded a song and made a poster. The gift shop had some cute and reasonable Christmas ornaments. If you have a student or are an older adult they do offer discounts on site.Take your own water, they allow carry in bottles. We paid over $3 for one there.

The Grand Ole Opry, renowned as the authentic country music hub, is a must-see for enthusiasts of this genre. Established in 1974 to serve as the permanent residence of the world's longest-running live radio broadcast, it offers visitors the opportunity to embark on either self-guided or backstage tours. These tours present an array of distinctive memorabilia and intriguing behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the stars who have graced its stage.
Had an awesome time! Sat 3 rows from the very top. The seating is one long, slightly angled, soft bench. Seat numbers are on the back. Quite comfortable. Snacks and drinks are available. Bathroom lines moved fast during intermission. Acoustics are great. Several TVs are on both sides so you can see better. Totally worth the price.

This iconic venue lived up to the hype in my mind. Each performance of the night was top notch. The musicians are incredibly talented and skilled in their craft. It was fun to see and I loved hearing the history and stories of the Opry. I would definitely go again and again. I’m glad we took the opportunity while we were visiting! The section we sat in was pretty high up but the screens make that okay. There’s a price point for each visitor and it can be an affordable experience.

What an amazing experience. Visiting the Grand Ole Opry was a bucket list item for me and the visit exceeded all expectations. The sound was great, the artists were great, the experience was great, the hospitality was great, and the list can go on and on. I grew up watching the Opry with my dad and being there in person brought back so many memories, memories I’ll forever cherish. Thank you to the dozens, if not hundreds, of staff/talent/engineers that pour everything they have to make our experience excellent. I am looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

So fun!! The talent as expected was fabulous, the history amazing and the evening remarkable. Tickets are a bit spendy but we went for the nostalgia of the Opry. There is a bar outside while you are waiting as well as a march shop. All tickets are reserved seating which takes the run and fun mentality out of it. Seating is on padded church pews which were shockingly comfortable. Stadium seating, great acoustics and lots of quick movement which keeps it going. We saw Carrie Underwood, Vincent Mason and Ashley McBryde. The con of the evening is the shared ride debacle. No one knows where to go after the show, and where they told us to go was a zoo and our driver was at the place we had started from and had been told we could not be. The drop off was a bit of the same. There has to be a traffic adjustment for the flow and the angst to settle down. Our driver was frustrated as were several other people who were having to walk quite a ways to get the ride. It was a great evening but just be prepared for the ride share issue. There is food and drink inside once the doors open and they do try and move people through that quickly to get the show moving as it is a radio show and has to start on time.

Attending a show at The Grand Ole Opry is an unforgettable experience, especially when you’re seated in the front row of the second floor. The venue's historic charm is palpable, having hosted countless legendary performances since its inception in 1925. The Opry is the longest-running radio show in history, and being there in such prime seats allowed us to fully appreciate its rich heritage and vibrant atmosphere. The acoustics were impeccable, making every note resonate beautifully. The blend of nostalgia and top-notch entertainment made the evening truly magical. If you ever have the chance to see a show from the Grand Ole Opry, especially from such a fantastic vantage point, don't hesitate—it's a piece of American musical history that you’ll cherish forever.

My wife and I went to Nashville because my wife is a big country fan. We didn't make plans to go to the Opry until the last minute. We paid the very high rate for resale tickets and it was worth every penny. The highlight is when we got to visit with Avery Anna and meet with her and listen to her sing and get her autograph and pictures. What a talented artist! Well worth the trip! Luke Combs was pretty good too. ;)

This was a trip of a lifetime for me, I have always wanted to go. We had such a great time , I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Loved the gift shop , the music outside before the show was great . We used the paid parking and it was just a short walk to the Opry building. Easy to exit after the show . The singers was great , no complaints at all ! So much fun!!

Most fabulous experience. We only knew a few of the artists, but we thoroughly enjoyed the show. There is so much talent on one stage. I could have listened to the house band and left happy. Comfortable seating. Any seat is a great seat. Great area outside the Opry to relax in while you await the doors opening with a bar. There was an excellent live band playing outside as well that we enjoyed while we waited. Part of their summer weekend showcase. We paid $20 to park close, but you can also bring a taxi and get dropped off at the same location. There is a wee bit of a walk over the bridge, but it's doable and lots of benches once you arrive on the other side. There is food and drink to purchase inside that you can take to your seats. Pizza, popcorn and such. All in all, if you love country music, you will love the Grand Ole Opry!

Not quite what I was expecting. I knew it was a live radio show but thought there would be more singing & music, much less chat. All was interesting but I really wanted the music. All performers were very good, just not on long enough- felt like short bursts of music only. Hubby found it very boring & disappointed at what he felt was a lack of music.Loved the bench seating & we did get a great view. Good that you could have drinks while you watched & plenty of places to purchase them.On arrival & pre the show good to hear the country music playing in the background- made for a great atmosphere to start.Loved the floral displays outside, very welcoming.

An insightful backstage tour full of rich history. The tour is about 45-60 min, walking and standing but only a few stairs. Tom, our guide, was easy to talk to, kept it light and humorous but full of interesting facts. Tour is appropriate for all ages. We got our tickets through Vacations Made Easy and while we had to ward off a small push for a time share tour, there were no obligations to do so and we got our tickets for 1/2 of what The Opry charges. I don't know that I would have felt fulfilled after the tour paying full price. We visited on a Monday at 9:30. Park free at the Opry Mall Dave & Busters for a 2 min walk across the street.

I had a free day in Bowling Green and searched for things to do. The museum came up at the top of the search results. The place did not disappoint. We visited early in the morning and were free to take a lot of photos easily. However, as we were leaving, a large crowd was entering the museum. I’m glad we arrived early. The museum has really cool displays of Corvettes and other cars. I'm not much of a motorist, but I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, taking lots of photos of the cool cars.

Stayed in Bowling Green overnight so that we could do this museum, and it was just FANTASTIC.Even if you are not into Corvettes, this is a very interesting place and it's definitely worth taking the guided tour for an additional fee since the guides are very informative and you can ask questions as well. Seeing people taking delivery of their brand-new Corvettes was also very cool to see. The sit-in restaurant serves good food, but selections are very limited for vegetarians. This has been on our bucket list for quite some time and we're so happy that we could do this on our way back from Midwest Road trip. Plan to spend about couple of hours going through the museum on your own and if you're doing the guided tour, it's about an hour but it definitely goes over since there's so much to see and talk about from the guide's perspective.

This place has been on my to-do list for many years now. The first time I went past I said I needed to stop. Always had a love affair with the Vette. They always turn my head. The museum is put together nicely. I was interested in the exhibit about the sinkhole. I distinctively remember when that story hit the news. The only thing I wasn't impressed with are the benches out front. Makes the place look like a cemetery, they are stone and hot to sit on with no shade. Do yourself a favor and give them to whoever names are on them with their money back. It makes the museum look hideous.

My dad and I just had the most incredible experience participating in the "Corvette Delivery Experience" with both of our C7s! The package included so much more than we expected. A huge shout out to our delivery associates, Al and Stacy, for introducing us to new features of our vehicles and providing outstanding customer service with meticulous attention to detail. Special thanks to Rod and Becky for coordinating the event, Chris for the fantastic private museum tour, the detailing team (Beverly, Josh, John and Eric) for making our cars shine inside and out, our enthusiastic photographer, and Kris for keeping an eye on our vehicles! You all went above and beyond to make us feel like celebrities during our time at the museum and appreciate everyone being genuinely excited about our cars and stories behind them. I highly recommend this experience to anyone, regardless of the Corvette generation you own or plan to purchase!

Really well put together museum. Detailed and coated a 59 vette insured by the museum weeks before this trip making it even more memorable. Is a must see for anyone in the area. Great for the whole family. Not expensive and we easily spent 3 hours there. Can't wait to see what they do with it when we go back next year

One of my long time bucket list checked off! Great experience exploring the museum and learning the history of Corvette! Once in a life time experience I'll never forget, its worth going! You wont be disappointed!

A truly unique experience. So many cool things to take in. Loved the exhibits. Loved the Manta. Loved peering down into the cave/sink hole. Simulator was crazy cool!

This was a great stop. There is so much to learn about Corvettes! There was an original Corvette that was put in a vault in Maine and was discovered decades later. Fun fact about this museum is that there was a sink hole that opened up and buried 6 Corvettes. The rescue of those cars is great to learn about.

3.9.24Our final stop before heading back to Michigan! Guess you could say we saved the best for last. The museum was super cool and has so much to see. There’s also go karting available at the tracks, but we didn’t do it since it was cold and rainy. Definitely do if you get the chance though! And the little restaurant inside is AMAZING.

Great way to spend 2-3 hours if you are in the area. We paid the extra $10 for the guided tour and it was totally worth it, the guide had many stories which were not on the display to be read. We arrived at 11am and it was really crowded and had lines for tickets and to even see some if the displays so I recommend coming early. Some cool cars to look at even if you are not a huge car fan. The gift store was also huge and you can definitely find something for everyone.

Had a great visit to the Museum. Glad to see that they were open on Sunday and went with my 2 sons. The place is very well kept and modern. They had a restaurant, library and archive (not open), gift store, stimulator and of course the main museum. We loved the Education center and all the interactive activities within. It kept my 8 and 4 year old entertained and excited. The 'shrine' to the cave-in was awesome and informative. I do wish they left a bit more of the cave-in exposed but probably couldn't for safety reasons. All this along with the awesome, historic Corvettes made it a trip to remember. We plan on returning.

We spent 2 hours here! Loved walking around the museum and doing it at our own pace, lots of super cool cars and info stands. We learned about the infamous sinkhole and the cars that never recovered and the ones that did. Even had a Duesy from our hometown! 10/10 would come again for a guided tour next time!

A great museum to go to whether you’re a car fan or not. Husband and I are casual car people and not enthusiasts by any means. Still the museum was so interesting to see and has deep history that surrounds the city it’s located. The only thing is that I wished they wouldn’t have filled the sinkhole. I get it was for the better but I think if they left the cars and the hole untouched, it would have made for one of the most unique exhibits ever.

Definitely a fun place...and the ONLY place to see a 1983 Corvette. Smaller than expected, but a lot of important cars here. I mean...a lot! I did the self guided and guided tours, along with the simulator. Spent about three hours total in here. Maybe a little more. Not very busy on a Monday.

Very good and clean experience. Top notch, lots to see. Food to purchase on property. But we didn't try it. It smelled amazing. Beautiful land scape and photo opportunities.

This place is so cool. They have so many corvettes, and you can even drive a corvette on their road coarse. They have 2 simulators, and they look like they would be a lot of fun to try. Too bad the tickers were already sold out for the day. They have a great souvenir store. They also have a nice restaurant on site.
Robby M — Google review
Very nice, but there is less there than I expected. I was there about an hour and saw everything I wanted to. There are lots of corvettes from every era, and a few good displays about design and production. A sinkhole opened under the museum a decade ago and they had a good exhibit on the sinkhole and recovery. The cafe is very good, and miles ahead of most museum cafes.

The visitor center at Jack Daniel's Distillery offers guided tours and exhibits historical artifacts. It is highly recommended and provides excellent service. Visitors can purchase tour tickets online or on the day of their visit. The dry county tour option is available, with an opportunity to buy a tasting ticket for an additional cost per person. The highlight of the experience is the humorous and knowledgeable tour guide, Ms Kim. Overall, the tour is superb and highly praised by visitors who often leave with purchased bottles in hand.
We had an excellent tour guide with Kim!! She made this a very exciting and humor filled tour filled with history and fun facts about this amazing figure in our distillery history. They use With the finest grains and take the pristine water from the Cave Spring Hollow located on site. As you approach the cave you can feel the Temperature drop. They then mellow it drop-by-drop using sugar maple charcoal that they also make onsite. It is then stored in handcrafted white oak barrels that they make themselves the same way for more than 150 years. It’s I testing that this distillery provided more than 50% of the county’s revenue and it’s a dry county. The first pay of the month on a Friday the workers also get a free bottle of Jack. The same of 6 whiskeys is permitted because it’s “educational.” They apply labels by hand and everything is high touch and to perfection. Definitely make this a stop. It’s about 2 hours from Nashville.

We had an absolutely amazing time on the Jack Daniels distillery tour, and it was all thanks to our fantastic guide, Anthony! From start to finish, Anthony made the entire experience unforgettable. His deep knowledge of the distillery's history and the whiskey-making process was impressive, but it was his passion and storytelling that really brought everything to life. He answered every question with enthusiasm and kept us entertained with fascinating anecdotes. The distillery itself is incredibly picturesque, nestled in the charming town of Lynchburg, offering stunning views and a true sense of history. Even if you're not a whiskey drinker (or don't drink at all), this tour is a must! The craftsmanship and tradition behind each bottle are worth learning about, and the rich culture and history of Jack Daniels are something everyone can appreciate. Whether you're a fan of whiskey or just looking for a unique and educational experience, make the time to drive out and visit – you won't regret it! Anthony and the entire team make it a day to remember!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! I think it was chiefly due to our amazing guide Justin aka Juice! Even before our tour started and Justin knew we were part of his tour he had stopped to greet us. We were looking at the family tree of Nearest Green and Justin identified people he knew and some fun facts about them. Justin was so friendly, jovial, and informative. His wit, warmth, obvious experience were second only to his passion for what he did and where he did it. You should DEFINITELY put this on your list of things to do while in the area!

Easily accessible using Google Maps, plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. The facility was clean and well staffed by friendly employees. Restrooms were available and also clean. There is quite a bit to see, there is a fee for the tour, but for the Jack Daniels fan, it's well worth it. The grounds are very nice and there is a pathway and foot bridge to the adjacent shopping area.If you happen to be A Squire, there is also a visitor building with some great collectibles on display as well as some really nice Squire articles for sale. So, a Jack Daniels fan or just interested in seeing one of the premier Distilleries, in my opinion it's a must visit.

we loved our visit to the Jack Daniels distillery, the guide was excellent and took us through all the stages of whiskey making, in addition to several stories about the life of Jack and the workers who produced this classic whiskey. The tasting room is worth the detour in itself. Take the Jack and Coke Slush or the lemonade, it's worth the price and you can't change your mind and take it at the counter.

Such a nice place! It’s beautiful out there. About 1:30 from Nashville but it’s a worthy drive. We took “The fligh of Jack” tour and was pretty fun, and educational. Ashley was our tour guide and she is fun, kind and has a lot of knowledge to share. Even though I am not a whiskey drinker, I really recommend coming here.Come during the week or Saturday if you want to enjoy the town of Lynchburg. We came in a Sunday and everything around was pretty much closed.

What a great and educational experience. The young lady, H.G., was entertaining and informative and was more like a host than a tour guide. The staff inside the visitor center were friendly, helpful, and made you feel appreciated. Even if you are not someone who drinks, I highly recommend visiting the Jack Daniel's Distillery and Visitors Center as well as taking the tour. One last thing, there is onsite security provided by Walden Security. Even their personnel were friendly and approachable. My visit was an all around great experience.

Americana. History. Whiskey. Hospitality…. it’s all here at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery and Visitor Center in Franklin. We made an impromptu visit on a Saturday afternoon and were able to get on the Angel’s Share tour without much wait. I do recommend advance purchase for tickets if you’re planning a trip to the area. The main parking lot and runoff parking area, are well-maintained and staffed with plenty of parking for those who need handicapped access. A shuttle is available. The restrooms in the visitor center were extremely clean. Staff at the ticket desk were very hospitable and helped us find the tour that was right for us. It was a warm afternoon and we appreciated the option to purchase a frosty beverage for our walking tour. Our tour guide Lea was knowledgeable and courteous, could be heard very clearly. The ambience for the whiskey flight sampling was comfortable and fun.

Sean D was our guide for the tour. We enjoyed his humor as well as his information.Hubby felt the tour was long, but that was because some people were slower in their picture taking and held us up a bit longer. Otherwise, the tour was quite informative and enjoyable. We would recommend doing this if you haven't had the liquor as you will learn why each level tastes differently.

First timer, Angels envy tour is well worth the money. Don’t skip on the Slush of Jack and Coke! I did and was thirsty while walking the tour. Bring comfy shoes as the walk is quite long and beautiful. Justin was our tour guide and amazing, showed me I was drinking whiskey wrong this whole time! Can’t ever go wrong with a good Jack and Coke.Vacation Tips: you can make online reservations but they do take walk ins. We made online reservations but were surprised when we got there earlier they said we could bump up to the next tour so keep that in mind if you’re early.

Awesome place! Our tour guide/Historian - Justin was excellent. He was very informative, funny, knowledgeable, friendly, and a great communicator. I was looking forward to this visit/tour and I was not disappointed. Of course the whiskey tasting towards the end of the tour was great. I also learned a lot about whiskey tasting from Justin during the presentation. I highly recommend the Jack Daniels tours if you are near the Lynchburg, Tennessee area. Thank you again Justin

First of all JUSTIN is an awesome guide. Not only because he is knowledgeable but he makes the tour fun for everyone. He had everyone on his tour group laughing from the start.Learning about Jack Daniel’s history. The Relationship/ Partnership between Jasper and Nathan “Nearest” Green was awesome and interesting. It’s about an hour and a half drive from Nashville. (Free Parking on site). The tour itself is 80% outside and it includes going up and down stairs so dress comfortably. If you want the Jack and Coke or Jack and Lemonade Slushy make sure you buy it before going into the tour. (They give you a wristband for you to pick it up while on tour)Justin was really helpful when it came down to the tasting. Gave us tips on how to properly taste whisky. At the end my wife and I bought some bottles and had them laser engraved.Went to visit the Distillery on Wednesday 8/28 sorry for late review.

Visiting the Jack Daniel Distillery was a fun and educational experience. The tour offered a great insight into whiskey making in an engaging way. Conveniently, a bus takes you from the parking area to the distillery center covering downtown of Lynchburg. I recommend booking the tour online in advance for a smoother experience. The tour itself was excellent, with a knowledgeable guide who explained everything really well. The tour ended with a whiskey tasting session, which was a perfect conclusion to a fun day.

Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, TN is a must-visit for any whiskey lover or history buff. The whole experience, from the minute you set foot on the grounds, is dripping with Southern charm. But what really elevated our tour was our fantastic guide, Matt. Matt wasn't your average tour guide reciting facts in a monotone. He wove tales of Jack Daniel's life and the Lynchburg community with infectious enthusiasm. You could tell he genuinely loved the history and the whiskey, and his passion was contagious. He had the whole group engaged, answering questions with humor and sprinkling in fun facts that brought the place to life. The tour itself was well-organized and informative, taking you through the entire process of making Jack Daniel's – from the cave spring water to the unique charcoal mellowing. But it was Matt's storytelling that really made the difference. By the end of the tour, you almost felt like you knew Jack himself! Whether you're a die-hard Jack Daniel's fan or just curious about the whiskey-making process, I highly recommend a visit to the distillery. And if you're lucky enough to get Matt as your guide, you're in for a real treat!

Took a tour this past Saturday of the distillery and wanted to give our guide, Kayla, mega-kudos for her guidance on the tour. She was enthusiastic about telling us all the relevant information. Her jubilance was refreshing and she either really, really enjoyed her job or did a really great job at faking it. She was charming and witty, delivering laughs throughout the tour. She was a great ambassador of the brand and its heritage.

Ruby Falls is a 145-foot underground waterfall inside a limestone cavern in Lookout Mountain. It's one of the most stunning sights you'll ever see, and it's definitely worth the cost of admission. The elevator ride down is amazing, and the waterfall itself is enhanced with lighting and stirring music to make it that much more thrilling.
This was an awesome experience, the underground elevator, the caverns and the underground fall was worthy. Buy the tickets in advance, online is faster, there is no wait time. Tickets 25.95.

Ruby Falls was very fun. Lily was an amazing guide during the tour. She made everyone smile.Within the tour, the creativity of the named formation was cool. I laughed at the ending small music area at the ending. The star of the show was the waterfall. The music and light show were fun to watch. You can get up close but do not have a bad area in the cavern. After the tour, I would highly recommend going up to the lookout point. It is a beautiful view.Side note: You will feel squished when other tours are passing by.

Rich with history and beautiful cave formations, Ruby Falls does not disappoint! The tours are informative and the guides have fun personalities. If you’re over 6’ watch your head, it is a cave after all.The waterfall is breathtaking and the lighting accents its beauty! Definitely worth the walk and herds of cave tourists as seen in their natural habitat! Can’t take credit for the joke but perhaps you’ll get this guide! The kids had fun looking around, and it was a pretty easy walk for them. We went on a hot day and the cave and waterfall temperature was cool and comfortable. I recommend a light jacket even in the summer. The gift shop has a large selection of goods. The photos are fun and reasonably priced! I can’t recommend this spot enough, it’s truly a treasure and live story to boot!

My family and I decided to go to Ruby Falls on our vacation in the first week of October, and we ordered tickets in advance. We live in the Eastern Time Zone, so our tickets were off an hour, so when we arrived, we found out we were supposed to go an hour earlier, but the workers there kindly adjusted our tickets before we even arrived. It wasn't that cold in the caves even though it was in October, so you don't need to dress that warm, plus you will heat up as you are walking. We took the regular walking tour. Be prepared to have your camera ready because there will be many rock formations inside the caves you may want to take a picture of. For most of them, they have little signs, so you can spot them. My camera had trouble adjusting because there are lower light levels. You also may want to bring good shoes with good souls so you don't slip because there may be some water on the path. You are led by a guide in single file through the cave. The guide will stop periodically and explain some sights along the way. At the very end is the waterfall, which is lit up by some lights. The path can be somewhat small, but it really opens up in the waterfall area. You spent approximately 5 minutes at the waterfall and then headed back the way you came. I wish the light show was just a little bit brighter and more intense at the waterfall. It was a very fun tour and I highly recommend it.

I think Ruby Falls is my favorite cave experience so far. The formations were so incredible. The paths are easy to walk on, and the falls at the end of the journey is worth it.Parking was a breeze and the entrance to the cavern is one of the neatest I’ve seen. You enter the caverns through a castle that was built by the rocks that were removed from the cavern. The trails are tight, so patrons who aren’t fond of small spaces would have to really pep talk themselves before embarking on this tour. The small kids on our tour didn’t fair well bc you can’t touch anything. They cried a lot—and caves echo. The cavern has flooring that makes it much easier to walk on. For safety and easy access, I recommend wearing shoes with tread, that are tied to your feet. This is an awesome summer tour because the caverns are naturally cool. Your ticket will also let you access the lookout tower which is on top of the castle. The cafe was charming.Everything was very clean.I suggest tipping your guide and if you don’t have cash, don’t forget a lot of these guides have electronic apps (Venmo, cash app, PayPal, etc.)!Ben was my tour guide and he was such a fun character. He was informative and honest. We also interacted with Brayden who was hilarious and engaging as he pointed us in the direction of the outlook entrance.

Absolutely LOVED our visit to Ruby Falls! Came here for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide, Scott (or goes by the nickname Scooter) was awesome! He had a great sense of humor and added a lot of funny jokes into his speeches about the caves and how it was discovered. The walk through the caves wasn’t bad at all. They say that it takes around 90 minutes for the tour but that time went by very fast. Once we got to the waterfall I’d say we had about 10 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the beauty of it before we had to leave for other tours to come in.They do take group pictures before entering the caves which are available for $35 once the tour concludes and you enter the big gift shop. It’s a nice little souvenir to keep for the memories but you’re also able to take pictures with your phone throughout the tour.I’d highly recommend the tour at Ruby Falls! It was a fun experience for my family and I. They also have other tour options like lantern tours or haunted tours. Might come back in the future for those!

Very unique and fun experience! Once you take the elevator down into the cave it is an easy 1/2 mile walk to the waterfall. Our tour guide, Austin, was nice, knowledgeable and funny. Overall it was a great experience. Once you reach the waterfall you only have a short time there, I do think they should add a few extra minutes to that time.

So much amazing pictures I took inside of the Ruby falls. Every penny worth it. You can come inside and enjoy the tour inside the cave and when you walking inside of the deepest inside the cave, you'll reach the beautiful waterfall. I said that it is awesome. Totally almost 30 dollars for adult. And next to the there is cafe they make really great flatbreads. I recommend the flatbread for you in there. And prices are ideally great. I recommend a lot

I highly recommend it. A fantastic experience. I love visiting unusual places with history. This cave is definitely worth a visit. It's a mile-long walk that doesn't seem like much, because the walk is interactive with a guide and at the end you'll see an incredible waterfall that's beautiful and refreshing. I went on Sunday and it was a little crowded, but it's still not a bad tour. They have a gift shop and at the end of the tour, you can go up to the top of the building and enjoy the view of the city. I bought the ticket online, but you can buy it there on the spot, you just run the risk of it being full at the time you want, so buying online might be the best option.

Ruby Falls is a must-visit gem for anyone in the vicinity. The underground waterfall is nothing short of spectacular, and learning about its fascinating history adds depth to the experience. The tour guides are knowledgeable and engaging, enhancing the journey through the caverns. It typically takes about an hour to reach the waterfall and return, making it a manageable excursion. I appreciate how formations are named based on their appearance, adding to the allure of exploration. For convenience, I recommend purchasing tickets online to secure time reservations. All in all, Ruby Falls offers an unforgettable adventure beneath the surface, making it a highlight of any trip to the area.

A bit expensive for what it is. Other caves are better and cost $10.00 less. The only real attraction to this cave is the waterfall. The other features pale in comparison to other caves. I'm not sure how I feel about the light show and music at the waterfall. I prefer the natural cave sounds and a more normal type lighting.

When it comes to history, some of it might be true, some of it might be embellished. The safety measures inside are excellent, and they close the attractions during heavy rains to prevent flooding. From the rooftop, you can get a great view of Chattanooga and catch a glimpse of the legendary underground waterfall.

Visited Ruby Falls during the labour day weekend! The experience was FANTASTIC. I recommend buying tickets in advance and reach the location 15 mins before the scheduled time. They have groups based on the time slot which are accompanied by a guide. It takes about 1 hr for the entire tour and the guide walks at a strolling pace, kids and elderly people can catch up. The overall tour needs to be experienced can’t be described in words. There is a cafe and which serves good food at decent prices.Parking is available which is free. The journey from the valley to the mountains is very scenic.

Aquariums are always the highlight of my trip!! This place was absolutely marvelous! The establishment was so well put together, and all of the animal habitats were clean, vegetated, and humane. The animals all looked really healthy, which is a great thing to see at places like this. All of the exhibits were fascinating and really nice visually. There are two buildings, one that's river creatures and one that's ocean creatures. I definitely preferred the ocean one, but I would highly suggest seeing both! They were both amazing and unforgettable. There are some opportunities throughout the exhibits where you can bet some of the animals, which is always fun. The air conditioning is also a super nice way to cool off after walking around Chattanooga all day. I got a bunch of really good pictures and videos from my visit here, and that's only possible because of how amazing everything was! I'm definitely going to come again the next time I'm in town, and I suggest that you come visit too!!

Customer service was very friendly at the front desk, we had to wait for the 1:00 p.m. tour, so we had 45 minutes where we walked around the outside and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Very nice view by the river made the time go by fast and we even walked through the gift shop and grab some concessions from the snack shack. The tour is beautiful, everything seemed to well kept, we enjoyed all of the exotic fish as well as all the information that is posted throughout the exhibit. My favorite was the butterfly exhibit, I was told that they had more butterflies in previous moments but I understand during the winter time they can't have a ton of butterflies out. But they were very nice and there were quite a few of them to watch.Highly recommend coming here, all the animals seem well taken care of and there wasn't as busy as I thought it was going to be on a Saturday.

A must visit place if you are in the Chattanooga town and have a few hours to spare. The aquarium is made up of 2 distinct blocks The River block and the Ocean block. Both are unique in their own ways and the display is amazing. The details of each species are well documented and easily accessible. There are ample photo opportunities especially for small children who can enter special photo domes created to get closeup photos clicked. Also the butterfly park located in the Ocean Zone is very beautiful and enjoyable. All in all a perfect place for a family outing especially for families with small children.

🌟WORTH SO MANY MORE STARS!🌟 Our family buys a membership every year, and let me tell you… it is worth every penny! No visit is ever the same, and we’ve been a hundred or more times. Seriously! The staff are so unique and they absolutely love to talk about their animals and aquatic life! We enjoy the many member events they hold year round! This is a must stop if you’re traveling through!

We really enjoyed our time at the aquarium, it was fun for all ages. We loved the crawl spaces, it made us feel like we were in the tanks. The collection of animals was diverse making it more interesting. We loved how the River building flowed and wished that continued in the Ocean building. Overall it's somewhere we'd visit again!

The first time I visited this aquarium was 2004 or 2005, and I remember being impressed. It's no less impressive today, and the crowd flows much more smoothly. The displays are fun, interesting & educational. Even our 16yo enjoyed it. Everything seems well-maintained and clean. Admission is kinda expensive at $40 per adult ($30 for under 17) and parking adds more $$. The gift shop is as expected including ridiculous prices for basic stuff, like $50 for a screen-printed t-shirt. But nobody's forcing you to buy anything there, and the experience is well worth the price of admission. We've visited aquariums in New Orleans and Atlanta too, and the Tennessee Aquarium is definitely top-tier. Strongly recommend!

Started off with a behind the scenes tour which was phenomenal! Got to see a lot of the aquarium before it opened and the guide was highly knowledgeable about the aquarium and the exhibits. It was super neat going behind the scenes to see how the animals are fed and taken care of. After we were done with the behind the scenes part we went through the aquarium properly and it was amazing how big it is and how diverse the fish population they have. It is a must see if you are in Chattanooga and looking for anything to do!

Saturday crazy busy!! I looked online before traveling. Nothing said to purchase tickets in advance. We had to wait 3 hours before we could even schedule a time to enter the aquarium. On top of that, we had to pay 15$ to park. Ended up having to purchase tickets for the next day and come back because the next scheduled time would not give us enough time to view both fresh and salt water sides. We are not local. Hopefully, this will be worth the return trip tomorrow!!Follow up, we drove back to Chattanooga and visited both sites. We had to pay another 15$ to park. The salt water side was okay. The older fresh water side was very nice. I have to be honest, it was NOT worth 110$ for 3 of us, but it had been over 10 years since we had been. Probably will not return for another 10 years. The city was clean and there were a lot of places to eat.

Is a really nice aquarium. I liked how one building was River and the other ocean. Fun interactive things to do at each. My kids liked petting the creatures. I would say the cost to get in was a bit steep and I expected more to see I think.

Two exceptionally cool aquarium buildings. One fresh. One salt. Shows off plenty of the natural river view in both buildings and many fascinating species in both. The river/fresh building was laid out in a really cool way especially. A fantastic experience overall.

I love aquariums and this one was awesome! It’s very cool with one building holding the freshwater aquariums and one holding the salt water aquariums with a unique public space with water features and a small temporary market outside. We walked from our hotel in the morning and took the free shuttle back in the afternoon. It was very well laid but the bathrooms weren’t as easy to find because there weren’t a ton of obvious transition points. We were there the majority of the day and saw the animal IMAX movie which was fun although I think it would have been better in 2D.

Fantastic Aquarium. The split buildings were a cool way to physically transfer you from Fresh Water to Salt. The Ocean bottom walk through was the best I've ever experienced. Multiple areas to view fish 360° and spots to sit/lay and enjoy. The river walk was very unique, haven't seen any other Aquariums that focus on rivers in particular. Getting to pet a sturgeon was awesome.

This was so much fun. I hadn't been since I was in my early 20s and I had a great time. So much to see and amazing fish and animals. I suggest you do both Journeys and start with Ocean first. River is my favorite tho.

I really enjoyed this aquarium. It isn't the best I've been to, but it certainly isn't the worst either. They have 2 separate buildings for fresh water and salt water fish. It's a unique setup as well with multiple storied buildings. They have a nice butterfly exhibit included, which is a fun change of pace. Staff were all very friendly. They have multiple bathrooms throughout, so nothing gets too crowded. Definitely worth while if you're in the area and looking to kill some time.

Wonderful!! Fantastic!! The Tennessee Aquarium is an absolutely awesome experience. The building itself is beautifully designed and well-maintained, making it a pleasure to explore. There is so much to see and do that you'll definitely want to plan for multiple visits to take it all in.The aquarium is very accommodating for visitors of all ages and abilities. I loved the fact that I could walk around for as long as I wanted, exploring the four different levels at my own pace. And whenever I needed a break, there were plenty of seating options available.Overall, I highly recommend the Tennessee Aquarium to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience. It's a fantastic place to learn about aquatic life and appreciate the wonders of the natural world.

We have an annual family membership and love it! Rainy days or any day, we can take the kiddos down and meander around. Sit and watch the butterflies! Become mesmerized by the sturgeon! Play with the Otters! Or watch the turtles and crocodiles! It’s always new and always engaging. A step away from the world for a little while.

We had a wonderful time today at the Tennessee Aquarium! There are two buildings to explore: one with river animals, and one with ocean animals and a butterfly garden. Both buildings are laid out in a continuous circuit so you can visit all of the exhibits and not "miss" anything. There are two places for animal interaction: one touch tank for sturgeon, and one touch tank for a variety of rays (adult supervision required for children). In addition to hundreds of fish species, you will also find turtles, amphibians, river otters, lemurs, penguins, and more.Things to know: There is a paid parking lot; no free parking close by. The aquarium is accessible by wheelchair. Restrooms are available on site and there are sinks near both touch tanks to wash your hands. Very child friendly. Both buildings have a gift shop on the bottom floor.

Really great zoo! Would be a 5 stars however the tortoises did not seem to have enough room. We own small species and they need tons of space because they're wanders.Besides that, I loved the education content and this greenhouse was absolutely stunning. It took about 1 and a half hours to do the whole thing.

This aquarium is exceptional!! We pet sand sharks, sturgeon, sting rays , and some cute fish! Huge place with two separate buildings, fresh water and saltwater!! Food options in between and gift stores in both buildings! Could easily spend an entire day here with children!!

Very nice attraction if you're visiting the Chattanooga area. The aquarium is worth the visit. There are two buildings. One has oceanic species of fish, the other freshwater, including fish that you find in the Tennessee River. It was really interesting watching the divers clean inside the tanks with sharks swimming around them. The aquarium is definitely worth the visit.

Great aquarium! Very interactive and educational. Clean and inviting for the most part! The carpets in the areas where you can crawl into spaces could use a cleaning (smelly and brown in areas). The staff is kind and offered assistance.

Tennessee Aquairum was a very interesting place. You will need to get tickets early. It was very coo;l to see all the fishes around the river and world. Gators wanted their picture taken each time. Otters were fun. Some areas were beautiful as a painting. It is a well visit. One Downside of the place is the gift shop. It is way overpriced. I would skip it 100 percent.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park
Hotel
Nature & Parks
Scenic park with a waterfall, hiking & gem mining, plus lodging, horseback riding & a fire tower.
Handicap accessible! A friend was complaining about the lack of availability of handicap accessible accommodations, pretty much everywhere. I showed her pictures of our cabin, and she was excited. Not perfect, but doorways wide enough, sinks you can roll up to in a wheelchair, and a bathroom large enough to turn around in.The hike to the falls from the cabin area is challenging but fun. Several other trails around that area were also pleasant. For the physically challenged, we were able to park near the falls, and it's an easy walk/wheelchair trip on paved roads to several nice overlooks.Breakfast was about what you get at nicer hotels, not perfect but adequate . The view from the dining room more than makes up for any disappointment. We've been twice, stayed in a cabin both times, found the staff and cabins quite nice. Much better than a hotel, in my opinion.Do some research and you'll find plenty to do nearby if the park isn't enough to entertain you. We've kayaked with Sheltowee Trace Adventures, ridden the South Big Fork Railroad, hiked at the Natural Bridge and several waterfalls much smaller than Cumberland, and found local shops and diners to round out the fun.

This place is the best kept secret in the area. Our cabin was clean (with an occasional pest, but you are in the woods), spacious, and affordable.Breakfast is free during the week with a variety of food, and the restaurant is more than accommodating. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for any of your outdoor adventures. I highly recommend checking it out!

We visited the area about a week after Hurricane Helen. The Falls were high and flowing fast. The overlook area has easy parking. There is a gift shop with reasonable prices and lots of local products for purchase. There are restrooms. Several overlook areas for photo opportunities. You are able to walk down the beach and wander. We stayed in the cabins by the lodge. The cabins are a little dated but convenient if you want to spend more than a day exploring. Breakfast was included in the cabin rentals. At the time, the breakfast consisted of bagels, toast, apples, bananas, and cereal. Quick and easy on the go, if you want more, you can purchase a hot breakfast in the lodge. We also took the hike to Slave Falls. This hike was lots of ups and down rocks, and some areas do not have rails. Be prepared with water and walking sticks.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is an absolutely beautiful park - I wish I could have spent several days here. I went to this beautiful park , intending on going on a hike for a better view of the solar eclipse, but the weather wasn't making it possible ( Brief, Scattered rain showers would have made the hike a bit dangerous. ). We visited the gift shop, checked out the gems, had a few snacks. We took a mini hike down to the beach by the side of the river ( See my one photo { It's also on Viewbug - search for Viewbug on Google.} We wished we had brought lunch with us. ), and did a bit of exploring while we waited for the eclipse to happen. It was a fun day. I highly recommend Cumberland Falls State Resort Park for a day trip, and Yes, I discovered there are campsites and cottages for rent and activities to do there ( I will LIKELY plan a future trip for a camping trip there. 😁 ). I look forward to returning to this beautiful park.

We stayed in the RV park for 4 days/3 nights in early October 2024. The campground is beautiful, but the sites are perpendicular to the narrow road, very tightly arranged, and difficult/impossible for larger rigs. We had a 20' travel trailer and did not have too big a challenge getting situated. Each site has water and electric that is on a post shared with your neighbor. The park includes cabins, a restaurant, primitive (i.e., non-electric) camping sites, and an RV campground with electric/water/dump station/showers. The showers were typical for a campground but had a good stream of hot water. It was a short drive to many beautiful scenic views and hiking trails. The falls were gorgeous and provided numerous locations for viewing. There were miles of hiking trails (rated moderate) that included grade differential and somewhat treacherous walking over/around large rocks. Hiking sticks are greatly recommended for safety. We enjoyed our stay and would return for a future visit to the area.

We got married in the grassy area adjacent to the Great waterfall 10 years ago. The park is pretty. I am told if you go during a full moon, you might see a moon- rainbow originating from the tiny droplets scattered by the falls. The restaurant is very nice. Pay attention to the location of boulders, they are in specific places below the waterfall only, due to erosion.

We did not have a room at the hotel on site, however the staff that we encountered was amazing with helpful information and directions, that enhanced our trip. The Falls of Cumberland is beautiful, and a must see at least once in a lifetime. Take time to visit daytime and on full moon nights. We enjoyed the rock formations and the trails around top of the waterfall was breathtaking. Kentucky is hard to beat when it comes to natural beauty. Come play in Kentucky

The park is beautiful. We stayed at the Cumberland Falls Resort State Park (campground). The campground ground was clean and quiet. Except the bathrooms they were not cleaned daily. The facilities are nice but not cleaned regularly. If you visit take advantage of the horse trail riding it was a fun experience and the team was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this area has not had much rain; therefore, some off the falls that we hiked too didn’t have but a trickle of a waterfall. But don’t let that stop you from going because the hikes have breathtaking views.

Camping sites are too small for what they said would hold the size of camper we have. They were close together too. What we were told the biggest one is for a 29 foot trailer. The one they gave us was a 26 foot site, but we would have been in the road with that if our camper was that long. We had a 19 footer and it barely fit in the site. Breaker box kept flipping off, and was unstable and ready to break off of pole. "Someone probably backed into it." The man said. We were told no electricians were available On the weekend, so we constantly worried about leaving our dogs in the camper. Maintenance man said he was going to drive by to make sure they were OK every hour and he did. If he wouldn't have done that, we would have not been able to go hiking. I tried calling the manager of the park, but she never returned my call. Trails were overgrown and unkepted. Only good part of the trip was the waterfalls. Not coming back.

Driving down this very winding road was fun. When we finally got there, it was around six p m, which was perfect for us. There was hardly anyone around us the whole time. It was so peaceful, and the waterfall truly was amazing. I would love to see the rainbow. Or the moon bow, but that's just another reason for us to go back. Whenever we went there, everything was closed, but it's a very nicely setup park. Lots of trails. Definitely catered to the kids' adventures nearby. When we walked down the trails, I absolutely loved it. You can also go on the other side if you cross the bridge and get a different view. What a great park. We will definitely be going back soon. If you plan on going there, it looks like it closes at midnight. Other than that, it was pretty wide open with its hours. It was also very clean, but make sure to clean up after yourself and watch for black bears.

The earth almost sings here! I've been here many times, and it's always amazing. There are several viewing spots below the falls to get a good view, and the walk isn't bad. Lots of historic information, too. It's one of my favorite spots to visit. I didn't stay at the lodge so I can't tell you about the rooms. Go see the falls!!!

Cumberland Falls is a great place to get away. The cabins in group 2 (where we stayed) are arranged perfectly to make you feel like you're alone in the middle of the forest, and they have all the essentials you'll need. Anything that's missing you'll probably find in the small store near the campground. Everyone working at the falls was so friendly and knowledgeable about the region, giving us plenty of tips on how to make the most of our time. The lodge is also cute and the buffet-style restaurant has great views of the river valley, even though we cooked on a grill near our cabin each night.

We felt very blessed to find one room available at the last minute. We were plumb tuckered out after hiking around this wonderful park and to Eagle Falls today. We've never seen a place so conveniently tucked into the park, and we didn't have to drive to a restaurant. Please don't "update". Keep the charm. But you do need a new air conditioner in 109. It is so noisy, we had to turn it off.Although the servers are accommodating, the restaurant serves Sysco food (warmed-up out of a bucket). It will be fun to experience the park at night, and get started early in the morn after sleeping late. After dozens of hotels, this is the first where i could read nice large labels on shower soaps.

We stayed in the RV Camping area. We got here later than we intended to. Saw Campground signs but nothing that said Ridgeline camping? Had to ask someone if we was in the right area. On site to book it states no longer than 30' RV. I now know why. The spots are like little postage stamps. The people on the other side of the rd had to move their car for us to get backed in. Ours is only 21'. Then our electricity and water was a good little ways away from the camper and on the wrong side of us. No other way to park it or move it over to help this situation out... another camper let us barrow another cord till morning and we ran to Walmart for another. Did not like having to disrupt other campers to be able to get set up! But very thankful for them, for it! Yes I know what your thinking. Why not already have a longer cord. Well most places we have camped at 25' is all that was needed! And I now have that plus 30'...

My thirteen year old son described this as “one of the best experiences of his life”. We decided to do a father son rafting trip after finding a heck of a deal on Groupon. We arrived at 10:30 for the 11am middle river trip. The facility was clean and organized and the staff was super friendly. You can leave your keys and phone with them, which felt safe. There were clear instructions on how to be safe on the water and were separated into groups. The drive on the bus was fun and the time it took to get unloaded and on the river was impressive. These guys run a well oiled machine. The trip itself was so much fun and I won’t review it so that I don’t take away some of the adventure. It was safe, a good amount of time, and worth every penny. You will get wet, like within the first two minutes. I also highly recommend leaving your phone, camera and anything else valuable back at the lodge or in your car. It’s very clear within few minutes that there’s a good possibility you’ll be swimming. A photographer will get some great photos that you can purchase at the end of your trip. Do yourself a favor and, buy the photos. This trip will be something my son and I talk about the rest of our lives. We’ve even decided to make this a yearly trip and we can’t thank the folks at High Country Adventures for the wonderful experience. Shout out to our guide Ricky, thanks for pulling me back in my friend!

In the heart of Tennessee lies the Ocoee River, a fierce torrent renowned for its treacherous white-water rapids. Among the world’s most skilled navigators of these wild waters was Ace, a legendary rapids leader whose name was whispered with reverence and awe. His expertise and courage had earned him the title of the world's greatest, a title he upheld with pride and precision.Ace’s latest challenge was unlike any he had faced before. A team of mercenaries, hardened by countless battles, sought his guidance to traverse the Ocoee. Their mission was shrouded in secrecy, but Ace knew enough: they were pursuing a hidden treasure, rumored to be guardeud by ancient forces and modern dangers alike. As the team gathered at the river’s edge, Ace’s piercing eyes protected by Pit vipers scanned the group. Their leader, a grizzled and bearded warrior named Scout, met his gaze with a nod of respect. “Lead us to victory, Ace,” Scout said, his voice rough with anticipation. The Ocoee roared with a ferocity that would have made lesser men tremble. But Ace was no ordinary man. With a calm that belied the danger, he gave the signal, and they pushed off into the current. The first challenge came swiftly. Razor-sharp rocks jutted from the water, creating a gauntlet of obstacles. With deft maneuvers, Ace guided the raft, his commands clear and decisive.Suddenly, the water churned violently. From the depths emerged river sharks, their teeth glinting menacingly. The mercenaries, weapons at the ready, fought valiantly, but it was Ace’s knowledge of the river that saved them. Using the currents to their advantage, he steered them through the fray, the sharks’ snapping jaws just missing their mark.Their relief was short-lived. On the riverbanks, shadows moved with stealth and purpose. Cherokee warriors, fierce and proud, had come to protect their sacred land. Ace raised his hand, signaling for peace. He spoke in their tongue, a language he had learned in his youth. Respecting the river and its guardians, he negotiated safe passage. The Cherokee, impressed by his honor and skill, allowed them to continue, but not without a warning of the horrors that lay ahead. The river’s calm was deceptive as they ventured further. Flesh-eating fish, creatures of nightmare, swarmed the waters. The mercenaries fought desperately, but it was Ace’s quick thinking that turned the tide. He remembered an old trick: a concoction of herbs that repelled the beasts. Sprinkling it into the water, he watched as the fish retreated, their malevolent eyes glinting with frustration.Exhausted but undeterred, they finally reached their destination: a hidden cove where the treasure lay buried. The mercenaries cheered, their mission a success. Yet, it was Ace who stood apart, his eyes reflecting the river’s endless flow.As the sun set over the Ocoee, Scout approached Ace. “We couldn’t have done it without you,” he said, extending his hand. Ace shook it, a rare smile crossing his face.“It’s the river,” Ace replied. “Respect it, and it will guide you.”With the mission complete, Ace watched as the mercenaries departed, their hearts filled with gratitude and their pockets heavy with treasure. He turned back to the river, his true home, ready for the next adventure. For Ace, the greatest white-water rapids leader, the Ocoee was more than a challenge; it was a testament to his indomitable spirit and unyielding mastery over nature’s wildest waters.

My family and I really enjoyed this place. It's very clean and very well kept and very professionally run. They have a great outdoor space with tables to bring your lunch and eat like we did. They have some great souvenirs cups mugs and t-shirts you can buy. And now on to the good stuff the rafting. Their buses are clean the guides are hilarious and even the safety spiel was very entertaining. We got a chance to have Greg d be our guide and he's been doing this for 30 some odd years and you can tell. We had a great time and easily navigated the river. All the boats stuck together and we're very safety conscience allowing us just to have a great time for a day out on the river. I would highly recommend them and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

This is the best white water rafting tour around!! We have now gone a few times and every time has been an incredible adventure story lol. Shelley is the best guide ever hands down! But all of the guides there are amazing an experienced. You feel excited and safe and having fun all at the same time. They start out by giving you an intro class and teach you how to do the paddles etc. Then you board the bus and ride down to the entrance at the river. The lunch they serve is pretty good too and they even offer a veggie option. There is also a really fun part before lunch where you swim and float down the river. The water gets colder as the season ends, we went the second time on last day of the season. But what an incredible ride. The first time we conquered the Godzilla rapid was unreal and the second time too. If you stay on the raft or if you flip you will be well prepared and it will be an adventure of a lifetime. We cannot wait to go back next year! They also take pictures the entire time so you have the option to buy one or all of them at the end. Team Kenny!

Today, my group of 9 rode the Ocoee Mid level with Pink! I’ve ridden this a few times, but we had rookies who wanted to experience it. This was the best ride I’ve ever had on the Ocoee! Pinky took us surfing and just gave us the best experience ever! Best part- he yells, “ slide left!” Everyone slid left and it was just to flip our raft! Lol! We all had a great laugh and will definitely come back to ride the upper! When you’re there… ask for Pink!

Sights & Landmarks
Mercier Orchards is a picturesque, 300-acre fruit orchard that was founded in 1943. They offer pick-your-own seasonal fruits and have a variety of products available at their shop, including their own cidery with seasonal wines and slushies. Their website features a schedule of currently available produce so visitors can plan accordingly. The facility is well-maintained and has clean restrooms with an attendant on duty to ensure cleanliness.
We love coming up to Mercier’s when we are in the area. We bought several items consisting of bread, pies, and donuts. They all tasted great! The staff are friendly and love to serve. The experience in the store takes you back in time.I haven’t experienced the orchards yet but have it on the list.

I went on a Saturday in September and again in October, and both trips were really nice. The location and property are gorgeous, the baked goods are delicious, and the apple picking is a nice activity. The apple cider donuts and fried apple pies are bomb. The weather in October was cooler and the crowd was significantly larger. The crowds also seemed to grow as the day got later, so I'd recommend getting there as early as possible.

As a lover for Wine && Cider, this is a must to visit! They have Cider & Wine tasting! Make their own, as well as sell other wines. My favorite was their Blackberry Wine and I don't even like blackberries. The only negative I'd say, is how small their Wine bottles are for the price. They are half the size of a normal wine bottle, which are cute, but not for the price. Would love to visit again when it's Spring and see how the fields look!

This place is simply amazing! They have everything you need for fresh produce and daily made bakery goods. If you want a fritter, you best get there early as they sell out very fast. Their fruit pies are delicious!! You won't find a better apple in Georgia than you will here.10/10 recommend.

We've been coming to Mercier orchards for a while, but we took the kids berry picking for the first time and they had a blast! So fun, and now we have a ton of yummy berries. Not to mention the store is always a good shopping experience. Will continue to come for a long while!

Excellent for families, especially the Upick Apples or peaches. The ride to the orchards was fun and the views were spectacular. The pies were delicious and the tasting of their local fruit and alcoholic beverages was fun and nice.

Had the wonderful fall experience of apple picking at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, GA. We picked Fuji and Rome apples. Also had a great time shopping at their store and purchased more apples of many varieties as well as ciders both sparkling (hard and soft), peach butter, peanut brittle and the most delicious 9 inch strawberry rhubarb pie ever. So glad we visited. Mercier Orchards is a treasure and to be there in October was truly a joyful part of the season.

They have it all! Everything is really good, and if you are concerned about eating too much sugar, be advised that they have a number of no-sugar-added products (apple hand pies, jams, syrups, etc.). I especially like the frozen apple cider as it travels well and is available when it's not apple season. Totally worth a stop.

This is the best farm market in Georgia! There is plenty of parking, and the mountains and fields next to the market are incredibly beautiful. The peaches they sell here are the best in Georgia. They have a variety of peaches, but you can try a few of them first, so you can decide which one you like best. The apples here are also delicious. They sell a variety of other items besides peaches, so be sure to visit! I highly recommend it!

If you travel into north Georgia to go apple picking this place is a MUST stop orchard! My family goes up north each year but this year was a first at Mercier Orchards and now we will ONLY be coming here! The U-pick apples are amazing and delicious. The brewery and vineyard have so much to choose from. And lastly the store has everything you could think to bring home from apple cider donuts to the best jams and jelly.

If you visit Blue Ridge, GA, then Mercier Orchards is a must go to!!! It's an apple orchard that hosts a variety of apples, vegetables and also sunflowers. The shop on site is great with a huge variety of goods! There is also a winery on site to taste the wines and hard ciders offered. The tractor tour is well worth it, especially during U-pick!! We visited on August 2, 2024, decided on the tractor tour with U-pick. The apples available that day for picking were Blondies, Golden Supreme, and Mackintosh. All ages in our group (2yrs to 65yrs) enjoyed this part. The 2 yr old ate while he picked which is a great way to see if you enjoy the apples available. Definitely worth the trip, time and money!!!

Loved it. The weather was great. The orchard and the shop was great. Loved taking the grands to pick apples. Only drawback was the bag they gave you to hold the apples. They could be a little sturdier. GREAT EXPERIENCE

It's beautiful! We just missed the U-pick, but we took our time inside, looking around. I didn't realize they have so much of EVERYTHING inside. Clothes, food, snacks, bakery, a sit-down area to eat, etc. We will definitely be back. Try these drinks! So good! We bought every flavor.

Huge orchard that offers U Pick fruit!! Beautiful landscape, fun outing, and get some fresh fruit while here.I went in September so it was apple season,$10 1/4 peck bag. A tractor takes you out to where the picking is, you can pick as much as you can fit in your bag, you can also eat the apples right off the tree! Fantastic experience!!! The apples were crisp, juicy, and amazing!!There’s also a very large general mercantile store with a free samples, bakery, produce, lots of knick knacks etc. they serve a breakfast menu until 11:30 and the bakery items are available all day. Prices are reasonable. The cookies and donut were delicious!!

A huge store displaying their own products. I love the blue apple sparkling water, non-alcohol and alcoholic. There were free tasting inside. They also have bakery, and the apple cinnamon loaf was my fave

First time in Blue Ridge and this was on the itinerary. An amazing place! First stop was the tasting room to get a flight of the covers, ended up buying two six packs and a couple bottles of Apple and Strawberry wine. Later on, came back for the tractor tour where we got to pick sunflowers. Sometimes places like this have limited stuff to do and a very small store, but this place has everything. Didn't get a chance to eat a pie or cake, but if you really wanted to indulge here, you could easily leave the place in a wheelbarrow. Will be back!

I enjoy visiting this place every year. I like their fresh apples. I try to get every variety of their apples. Every year they put something new in their store. You can pick apples or buy from store. You can have picnic around their little lake.

My wife and I loved the blue/black berry picking. The whole experience was great. The tractor ride up to the berries was fun. It’s very affordable as well. The main shopping center is very interesting. I would recommend for a cute date

First time ever going apple picking, and I was happy to have had that experience at Mercier Orchards! I had a blast and felt like a kid going through the Orchards and picking some delicious Fuji Apples to bring back home! I finished off the experience by going to their store to purchase some of their famous cider, which, by the way, is AMZAING!! Please don't ask, which was my favorite because I can't just pick one LOL

Amicalola Falls State Park
State park
Nature & Parks
State park with a waterfall, hiking trails & a variety of lodging, from campsites to modern cabins.
Absolutely gorgeous and The pictures do no justice! We walked the 604 steps to the top of the water fall and it was worth every step! Gorgeous scenery in every direction and as far as the eye can see. If you're unable to climb the stairs to the top, you have the option to drive up and walk over to enjoy the views at the top of the waterfall. Headed to the zip lining adventures afterwards and it was just as phenomenal! I'd definitely return and experience it all again. If you're unable to climb the stairs to the top, you have the option to drive and enjoy the views of the top of the waterfall too.

Absolutely breathtaking and stunningly beautiful. Every step of the 600-plus journey down and back up is worth it. The waterfall feels endless, with each cascading section offering its own unique beauty. An experience you won’t want to miss!

good place to enjoy nature. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and take water with you. very beautiful forest. The fall is small but beautiful. To take good photos, it’s better to go up to the observation deck from below. you can sit on the veranda of the cafe and enjoy the beautiful view. You can also come and stay overnight in a tent. For convenience, there are benches everywhere and tables where you can sit and have a snack.

Such a beautiful falls. The weather was great. The main falls was closed because a tree fell, so only the lower falls was open. It was an easy hike, didn't have to climb the stairs. I love that it had the rubber path to the falls which made it easier on your feet

Great place for hikers and non-hikers alike. Plenty of variety of hiking as well as just site seeing and other activities. Axe throwing, zip lining are just two of the other activities that I have had a great time at this jewel of a state park. Hiking to the Len Foote Inn can be a one day challenge, or a great overnight stay. The staff at the brand new park HQ are helpful and knowledgeable if you have any questions about where to go and what is available to do. Starting your AT hike here is good way to get some last minute taste of civilization before starting north. Definitely a must see when visiting Georgia.

Beautiful day for a hike!! We went on a Friday around 1 pm. Very well maintained. The Visitor’s Center appears to be very new and staff is very knowledgeable about the trails, falls and other aspects about the park. Restrooms were clean and well-maintained. There are a number of conveniently located picnic areas. The hike along the falls is beautiful, with lookout points at good spots for those who need to take a breath or do a photo op. There are a combination of wooden and metal stairs.Parts of the trail are more level than others, and it gets steeper as you go up.There are parts of the trail that are paved. We love this state park!! Keep our parks beautiful! 😊🌲
Charlene N — Google review
Awesome hike and falls. There is a fairly steep hiking trail that I would suggest you take to the top...it beats the alternative of walking up 604 steps going the other way. Coming down the steps after hiking to the top makes much more sense. However, if you skipped leg day at the gym, you might want to go up and down on the steps! The falls are beautiful, but the amount of people around makes it a little hard to enjoy your surroundings.
Faith ( — Google review
Well appointed visitor's center at the base of the falls. No shuttle service from either the top or bottom of the falls, so plan accordingly. Spring through fall is awesome; wet your feet in the creek or sit in one of the refreshing pools. Spring time has a load of beautiful flora and mountain flowers to smell and photograph (touch with your eyes), along with a host of mountain forest critters, trout and wildlife. Fall has the changing leaves and the beauty of hiking. And tent a cabin in the winter. But please, please, please take your trash with you. Enjoy.

I had never really visited North Georgia and wanted to see this area. I picked this park because I had seen it in videos about the Appalachian Trail. It was way beyond my expectation. The waterfall is amazing, the highest waterfall in Georgia. The lodge is beautiful, sitting on top of the mountain with a panoramic view of the southern Appalachians. Miles of beautiful hiking trails and forest. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Ron R — Google review
Falls are amazing. Split your group and the athletic ones park the car at the reflection pond hike the concrete path and stairs up the falls and the rest start at the upper falls and walk down which is so much easier to do and finish the full falls. It's so amazing. Stay at the lodge which on the back deck you can perfectly watch the west sun set. We had dinner at the lodge, burgers and ribeye, which were delicious and had great service. Was not busy on a Tuesday. Nice fireplace to sit at in the evening to watch the final sunset go down. Certainly a hidden gem!

Beautiful state park and incredibly well thought out. It's very handicap accessible. I loved that they had trails made for wheelchairs and walkers so you could go see the falls as well. It was a very easy hike in to the falls from the handicap parking lot. Not even 10 minutes. The staff was delightful and so very helpful right from the time you come through the gate. Definitely recommend for family fun and for getting immersed in nature.

Really nice state park! We really enjoyed the park and the trails. The park is very nice and has a very nice visiting center when you first come in. There's a whole play area for kids as well. Then once you hit the trails there's tons of scenic views as you're walking up the side of the fall. When you get to the lookout of the falls it's gorgeous. You can continue up every higher but the first part you go up 175 stairs and the second part says it's over 400 stairs so we didn't continue but if you're a big hiker there's plenty more hiking to do it's only the start of the Appalachian trails.

BEAUTIFUL!!Fell in love with this place. The falls pictures do not do justice to the actual view. The walk is great, there are 400+ steps to go up which was difficult but I did with my toddlers.Kids friendly place, anybody can visit. Plenty of parking in different places, restrooms were clean and playground was clean too.Kids have a playground to play in, there are a lot of benches to sit and watch them. You can do barbecue as well. This place is great for one day trip and picnic.I would go here again, drive is g bad either. Nature always is the best and at it’s best!
Anju G — Google review
The falls are beautiful! They're easily accessible at the top at about the middle of the falls by very clean, well-kept paths. We rented 2 cabins near the top of the falls during our stay, and both cabins were extremely dirty and full of ants and spiders. Floors were absolutely filthy, but linens appeared clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast at the lodge was pretty good, but dinner was terrible, and their adult beverages were just awful. The staff was amazing and friendly. We also rented a pavilion there for an event and it was completely filthy. The kitchen was disgusting, and there was a closet full of molded rags that reeked like dead animals. The air conditioning in the enclosed pavilion did not respond to the remotes provided, and there were no buttons to adjust on the units so we were burning up the whole time we were there. Despite all of that, we had a phenomenal time, and we would love to go back. We had a great time hiking the trails, playing in the water, looking at the reflecting pool and rock hunting. If you go, just take your own cleaning supplies, cook your own food in your cabins, and enjoy the nature around you.

A nice well maintained must visit state park in Georgia. Awesome view of the falls with the mountains and woods. The water is cold most of the time. The round up trail is bit difficult with the stairs but worth experiencing it.Got many picnic areas and tables. They are clean and well maintained too.

Spectacular views of the falls. Beautiful nature center. Access to Appalachian Trail Head. Parking is available at the top, bottom, and middle of falls. Be aware that parking at the middle of the falls is limited but also wheelchairchair accessible There are hundreds of steel steps up and down the side of the falls.
Rebecca M — Google review
There is a visitors center/gift shop at the beginning where you purchase a parking pass. It also has information about the Appalachian Trail inside.Somehow, we parked in a smaller parking lot. That took us straight to the falls, but I guess there is another parking area where you hike and then walk up 125 stairs to the falls. To get to the top of the falls, you can drive and there is another parking lot, or you can walk up 425 very steep steps. The view is worth it.
Sarh M — Google review
Great little waterfall it's not that much water is going down, but it's high. We took a nice walk to see it and hiked back. We had a good time. Lots of walking

The namesake Amicalola Falls is simply stunning. Cascading down a long distance, the power and beauty of the water are awe-inspiring. Whether you view it from the observation deck or take the challenging hike down (and back up!), the experience is unforgettable.Beyond the falls, the park itself boasts stunning mountain views and lush forests. It's a true escape into nature, perfect for a refreshing break or a weekend getaway.

Such a beautiful park!! Took a day trip here from Atlanta with family. The trails are well kept. The waterfall is breath taking. There are different areas via driving/parking to access the waterfall as it can be tiring with all of the steps if starting from the base. They have lodging and camp sites. We went zip-lining and had a blast!! The tour guides were fun.

Harrah's Cherokee Valley River is a casino resort with four casual dining options, a bar and coffee shop, and well-trained staff. The location is wheelchair accessible and popular for family trips. Their food court is hygienic with quick service. They regularly add new slot machines to their collection that offer fun playing experience. The hotel rooms are comfortable with cozy beds and pillows making it an ideal vacation or weekend getaway spot.
This place is always fun. Love the free play they give out sometimes. They're doing construction to improve, so parking is a little wonky right now. Great place to possibly make a few dollars or at least be entertained.

Great place for the adults to play. I love that you can get dinner and drinks and play all in one place without having to drive anywhere. You can take food and drinks to your room. Room was very clean. The whole place was very clean and well managed...It's open 24/7 we will absolutely be back!!

Didn't do any pictures, but we really liked their food court options. More affordable & easily accessible than at Cherokee. We just did a day trip for a fall mountain ride. Smaller casino, so easier to navigate, but it appears they are expanding. An enjoyable & relaxing day trip from Cherokee

Look the casino is clean and smoke free, which is nice. I've been visiting this casino 3 to 4 times a year because of its proximity to Atlanta. On rare occasions, I've won some decent money there. But there's no competition and they've priced me out of playing blackjack at 25.00 a hand. I often play more than that per hand, but you better be hot from the word go or else it's expensive. And when the machines are cold the whole lot of them are cold. So gamble at your own risk, but the casino is nice.

Me and my best friend came for her birthday on 10/2. We had such an amazing time. The staff was AMAZING. Again, the staff was AMAZING. Literally from security, to dealer, to cashier, to customer service; everyone added something to our experience. Bill was everywhere. It was always so nice to see him pop up at either security stand or table. Special shout-out to the cashier who bought us both a dessert for her birthday. Your action meant more than you know.We had a great time. Won some money at the Roulette table. Met some fun people and can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I visited here over the weekend for the first time. This is the most peaceful location of any casino we have ever visited! The grounds are manicured with flowers in bloom everywhere. When you step outside, the quiet and beauty of the surroundings bring a feeling of calm.Every member of staff we encountered was welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and well appointed. The casino floor is wide open with lots of room between the sections of slots. It's much easier to get casino floor beverage service here than it's sister location in Cherokee. However, they need to reinstall the beverage service buttons on the slots. I was told this feature was removed some time ago.We look forward to returning soon!

Decor is nice. Unfortunately I had several issues. I walked into my room and the first thing I saw was several oil looking hand prints all over the wall. I promptly call front desk and they sent house keeping to clean it. She had to use several different cleaners to get it off. She left 3 separate times to go get something different. Then I checked the rest of the room and saw that the shower was not cleaned and then went to sit down and found the chair seat to have brown soiled chair stains. She wiped both of the shower and chair. So I’m thinking that was the end of my complaints. Well after dinner I started to get in bed and pulled the sheets back and found a dead bug stuck to the sheets. I was over it!I called front desk to complain yet again and she basically said she was sending up house keeping to change the sheets as she said unapologetically. Then I asked to speak to a manager. She called me and said that the only thing they can do is change the sheets as they had a packed house and no other room to transfer me to. I asked for some type of compensation and the only thing she offered was a $25 credit. I know things happen but to have a guest in a dirty room and then make it worst to find a bug in the sheets is unacceptable! This is my experience my adult children traveled with us and I haven’t heard any concerns from them. Maybe this was just an isolated incident but anyone would be very unhappy to have so many issues on the first night of checking in to only be offered a $25 credit! Make sure y’all inspect your rooms. The parking is terrible. You may have to drive all around to the bottom of the entrance to the casino floor to park. But if you have luggage make sure you take it out first as you cannot bring luggage through casino. If you get in early enough you may be able to find a closer parking space. They are doing construction fyi. So parking should get better after construction is completed. I really don’t like to give a bad review to any organization but due to the way they handled the issue I wanted to share my experience.

We didn’t stay here so I cannot comment on the rooms. We gambled here. They don’t have many tables. And bar service was slow to come around. But we like to go here when we visit the mountains. The food is good at the food court but a little slow or understaffed. Everyone is very friendly though. They root for you to win.

Short drive from Murphy! The casino is a non smoking facility and was very clean. They have a small food court which had some good food! The tables were packed (Roulette, Craps, Poker, Blackjack, etc). The slots were well laid out and had an assortment of games. Parking can be difficult but there is a shuttle with covered waiting areas!

DO NOT STAY HERE WHILE UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! Booked everything directly through Caesars and hotel directly yet Zero mention they'd be doing big time construction at 730am!! Absolutely INSANE to be woken up by extremely loud construction starting at 7am-730am literally right outside your window!Totally mind boggling they gave 0 warning of this! Who pays good money for a short get away just to be forcefully woken up at 730am!?????.THE CONSTRUCTION IS NON STOP! THEY CLEARLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS WHATSOEVER!Update: notice how the "owner" only replies to the good reviews and completely ignores the low star reviews! Tells you all you need to know about this location! Lack of proper customer service is appalling and disrespectful. Only reply to good reviews and totally ignore those who had any issues.

Nice experience, had fun. Lots of games to choose from. I go expecting to lose, hoping to win and with a reasonable understanding of how much I am willing to lose before stopping. If you expect you are going to win, don't go. Some will, most won't. Nice little food court with reasonable prices considering where you are at. Has a bowling alley and arcade for families with children.

Casino was fine. Enjoyed it being smoke free!! Was disgusted when we took a shower the next morning and the shower was filled with mold!! It takes a while for the black to accumulate on the grout in a shower!! Was upset when we checked out! Talked to a Supervisor and showed her pics, and was told ,"Sorry, will talk to housekeeping ". That was it!!! I said if I had noticed the shower when we checked in, we would have asked to change rooms. Makes you really wonder if the rooms are really Clean!! Will NEVER go back again!!

I go to lots of casinos including Harrahs. This location is just a money loss every time.I have been 3 times. All three I dropped $300 and played slots for maybe 30 minutes tops. Didn’t get any service or drinks. No staff around, lack of fun games , no free play in anything. Place is Just a joke 🤡
Jeff R — Google review
The casino is newer, so not all the amenities are in place. There is no valet yet and only the one restaurant, there is four fast food options however. Customer service isn’t the greatest, the dealers seem angry, most of them anyway. I actually over heard them complaining about sharing tips with new dealers..I sat at a Tex hold em table game and the dealer didn’t welcome me, and then never said a word… he was an older gentleman with a mustache very scruffy and glasses…maybe Mike was his name not sure, he just seemed unhappy. Then a female dealer named Marisa was so completely rude, actually argued with another player at the craps table…was very short just nasty really. Don’t they realize they need us? The same player could have tipped her instead he walked away from the table and I think he left. Hopefully they will come around once they finish their growing stage. Murphy is a pretty area. The locals seem nice not sure why the dealers are so unhappy.

Cheapest rooms on the area. They are under construction so the hotel guest have to park in the casino guest parking in back. Friendly valets and front desk staff. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and the temperature was already set at 68 degrees (was nice to not walk into a hot room). Clean bathroom with a very big walk-in shower. The shower head could have been raised higher to accommodate tall people. But overall, a very nice atmosphere and nice view of the mountains.

The Tuckaleechee Caverns are a series of high quality caves located in Townsend, Tennessee. The caverns are more than 20 million years old and have a cold underground stream that runs through them. The cave has over 8,000 entrances and is the highest rated cave in the eastern United States.
Never would have thought that this was a great MUST DO on my list. The family owned operations is welcoming and are so nice. The gift shop and history of the area are so interesting. It's well worth the money for something so interesting and a great exercise with over 400 steps and over an hour under the ground.

Had a great time! Tour was informative worth every penny. Recommend wearing a light sweatshirt but no jacket required. Not a difficult hike but does require you to be able to walk quite a few steps. Cavern is beautiful and something you will be in awe of.

As someone that's been to Mammoth Caves, this is a small cave, but 100% worth seeing while in the area. The sounds of the stream running through it is beautiful, with an underground waterfall as well! I had seen another review saying the water in the stream was drinkable, I asked my tour guide and he confirmed. The water simply tastes like... water lol. Would be an excellent retreat from the heat in the summertime as it's nice and cool in the cave.

HUGE amazing cave! Have only been to another in Kentucky (diamond) which was cool, but I was totally blown away by the size and expanse of these caverns! Incredible. and of course the running water added beauty. One room was the size of a football field. I’m thinking if it was my first cave, it might make the others seem unimpressive. But I’m sure they’re all cool and unique in their own right. Tour took 2-3 hours in all, enjoyed the gift shop also. Loved that it was rediscovered by a couple of boys a hundred years ago, whose relatives still keep things running.

Fantastic cave to visit. We've seen quite a few all over the world but this one is definitely among our favorites. It's so varied with the water stream next to you, the huge cave and the river sides. Can highly recommend going here. The talk about the steps was a bit silly, it's very doable for pretty much all people. Just take your time if not too fit, why hurry anyway?

You need to experience this at least once! The guided tour is very informative, and the staff is friendly. We were comfortable in jeans and long sleeves as it's around 58 degrees. If you have trouble with stairs, you might need to sit this your out. There are steep stairs going down into the cave and you have to climb the same steps to get back out. The underground creek was great. Our kids enjoyed looking for crawdads.

Had an amazing time on this tour. It was absolutely beautiful. Our tour guide was Orey, I believe his name was, he was funny, knowledgeable, and made the tour great for the kids and the rest of us! Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area!

Such a fun experience! Had a large group and we were all able to go together. There is lots of stairs (400 and something). We had people aged 5-55 and a pregnant woman who handled it well. But we passed some people who were definitely struggling. Our tour guide was awesome. Lots of neat facts and the story behind the caverns is cool.

Ore (Ory?) was the absolute best guide! Very personable, funny, and kind. He was always aware of the younger kids on the tour (including my 3) and incorporated them with humor and caring. He made sure that they didn't miss the bear shadow and wishing well. Specifically paused and talked to the littles. The first half is a lot of stairs. The second half is flatter and full of rivers and waterfalls. Such an incredible experience! Do not miss it!

We visited two years ago and my family and the experience was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who made us feel welcome and excited for the adventure ahead. The caverns themselves are breathtaking—a true natural wonder. As we descended into the cool depths, we were in awe of the stunning formations and the sheer size of the underground rooms. The guided tour was excellent, providing fascinating insights into the history and geology of the caverns. Our guide was not only informative but also engaging, making the experience enjoyable for everyone, including our 2 year old.One of the highlights was the beautiful underground waterfall, which was a sight to behold. The sound of the water echoing through the caverns added to the magical atmosphere. We also appreciated the well-maintained paths and the safety measures in place, which allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without any worries.Tuckaleechee Caverns is a must-visit destination for anyone in the area. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or just looking for a unique adventure, this place has something for everyone. We left with memories that we’ll cherish forever and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

Loved our guide named Travis. He was a nurse who had such a love for the caverns he did tours on his days off. We learned the truth about the caverns on our trip. The Cherokee didn't find them! Two small kids did in the 50's! Who would have thought? Anyhow! It is awesome. So much information it took my brain two days to process how absolutely beautiful and amazing they are ❤️ I wish I owned a cavern!

One of the best cave experiences we’ve had! The tour was right at an hour and a half long. We didn’t have to wait long to get in, they have several guides going at a time. Our group was fairly large, but we never had trouble hearing our awesome guide (we were at the front most of the time, but even when in the back we could hear her. The cave had some gigantic rooms and neat features. The cave does have quite a few stairs, so definitely something to be prepared for. I would also recommend making sure you are wearing good shoes, it gets slippery at times. Temp was 58 degrees, we were fine in hoodies and shorts.

Beautiful sights and amazing to see a part of our earth we don’t see often. We loved it! Lizzie was our tour guide and she was phenomenal. The walk was not too intense. The stairs were very steep, but definitely manageable. Once you get past the first half, it’s easy from there. Definitely recommend.
Jennifer A — Google review
Definitely worth a visit! Guided tour was very informative. The walk is not strenuous but there are quite a few steps on the first half of the tour. The second half is very flat and easy. You do have to walk up the same steep steps you walked down to start the tour. Temperature was good. No jacket or long pants required unless you just want to have them along. The geologic formations are just incredible. The underground river is beautiful. Children would love this. So educational. Pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend.

Loved it! Took my husband who is 6ft 7in and he had to duck some lol. My kids 8 and 3 had alot of fun. Lots of stairs so we stayed in the very back and I couldn't hear our tour guide, but he was super nice and patient with my 3 year old going slow.

I’ve been to the caverns twice now. Both time I had Ivan as my tour guide. Both times he has been super friendly not only to me and my family; but to every person in the group. He gave amazing information and taught everyone many new things people typically don’t know including me.Now to the cave, the actual cave was amazing. very beautiful inside and a lot of interesting things amongst the cave as well.overall, the small family owned business is such an enjoyment to go and see. everyone was super friendly and gave great information. thank you to everyone there who maintained a positive attitude and made my time at the cave unforgettable!!

We had a wonderful time. It is not sites you see every day. Our tour guide Ore was funny and very knowledgeable on the history and the cave features. He engaged the whole group. From the youngest to the oldest. We will definitely go again.

Went with 4 kids from 7 month old to 11. Cool temps inside and would recommend a light sweatshirt for kids or older adults went as a party of 8 with oldest being 67. Some low passages at about 4 foot tall. Amazing views inside. 410 stairs total some of which were steep. Not suitable for a child's stroller. Best to use a baby carrier for this adventure(able to use both railings this way).shoes would definitely be best. I would definitely return back again.

Did this tour with 8yo and 5yo. You have a few stairs you have to go up and down but it isn’t bad. Kids really liked the underground world this place is.Orey was our tour guide. He is very talkative and full of humor. Made everybody laugh and smile while on this tour. Bring cash and tip this fella. He is good at what he does.

Great to do on a hot day!! You go deep into a cavern and the temperature drops to a comfortable atmosphere. My 3 year old did well, even w the stairs. They do a pitch black segment which I really enjoyed. They give a little bit of history, apparently this was all underwater at some point bc they found water creature fossils, as well as mastodon fossils (very cool!!)

This museum dedicated to the famed Titanic is shaped like the ship & features recovered artifacts. As visitors touch real items from the wreck of the Titanic, they learn what it was like on that fateful night in 1912 when the ship sunk after hitting an iceberg.
Had a great time with the family at this location. My 12 year old daughter loves the movie, so I figured this would be a great place to take her. We waited in line for about 40 minutes before we actually got inside. I would highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance if you would like to visit at a specific time. There were plenty of kid friendly interactions throughout the tour. It's a self guided tour, so you can walk through at your own pace. You're given a recorder at the beginning of the tour to wear around your neck. It's used to interact with different displays throughout the tour. It tells you fun facts about the display. While in line, you're given a character card, which you can use to track your character throughout the tour. At the end of the tour, you get to find out if your character survived. I would highly recommend this tour for kids of all ages, it's very educational.

It was definitely an experience! Learned a few things I never knew anything about. Lots of information and plenty of time to read and take it all in. Cute shop at the end. Waited in line and never received the text they were going to send. They had too many people in a group and asked up to share audio players. I think it was a little steep at 50$ to be crammed together with so many people. I also don't think they sanitized the audio players. I had something on mine. Lucky I had a wipe!

Very well done interactive museum for both young adults and adults. Self guided pace to view each exhibit. The museum units visitors with those that were aboard the ship. You are able to stand aboard the deck, see the staterooms of all classes, feel the freezing water and sit inside a lifeboat. Gift shop was reasonably priced. Staff were well dressed and helpful.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when we decided to go to this museum but was very impressed with how it was laid out and the amount of exhibits that are there. You get a real sense of history as you walk through easy room.Highly recommend!
James S — Google review
Very cool place to walk through, to think all the stuff behind the glass cases were from the Titanic! To understand how many people passed away thinking this ship was unsinkable. Had to get an idea of the life on the ship, the staircase is a one-to-one replica of the original just gorgeous!!

Super cool place for someone who enjoys the history of the Titanic and/or the movie. So many cool artifacts! The self guided audio tour was great for the kids. I don't think super young children would enjoy it, but our 8 and 10 year olds did. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. The gift shop was extremely affordable for the area and the products they had
Missypopmusic — Google review
Very well done. The tour uses a timeline format and each person gets a card with one of the travelers’ stories. At the end of the tour you learn their fate. There are images we’d not seen before. And you get to feel how cold the water was that took so many lives. And the Lego Titanic is really cool.
Gary M — Google review
Have recorded to listen to narration of different sections of the museum. Really cool mock sections of the ship. Water display where you can touch and feel how cold the water was at the wreck location. Fun to see the real movie props as well!

We recently visited the Titanic Museum in Gatlinburg, and it was an okay experience overall. The museum itself is quite impressive from the outside, with the building designed to look like the famous ship, which definitely sets the mood for the visit.Inside, the exhibits were interesting and informative. I liked that there were a lot of authentic artifacts and detailed stories about the passengers. However, the way the exhibits were laid out felt a bit cramped and crowded, especially since there were a lot of people visiting at the same time. It was hard to take my time and really absorb the information without feeling rushed by the crowd. One of the highlights was the interactive elements, like touching the iceberg and trying to balance on the sloping decks, which were fun and added to the experience. But some of the displays felt a bit dated and could use an update to make them more engaging. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and I appreciated that they were available to answer questions. However, the audio tour was somewhat difficult to follow, as the device was a bit finicky, and the narration didn’t always match up with the exhibits.Overall, the Titanic Museum is worth a visit if you’re in Gatlinburg and interested in history. It’s an educational experience, but there are a few areas where it could be improved, especially in managing the crowd and updating some of the exhibits. It was a decent way to spend a couple of hours, but I wasn’t completely blown away.

I really liked how interactive this museum was. There were audio, visual and things that you could touch and push and feel that made the experience come to life. It was very moving to hear the voices of actual survivors tell their stories. The grand staircase is gorgeous and I loved getting the feeling like we were walking through the halls of the ship as everything was beautifully themed and designed. My husband who's a Titanic fanatic liked a pop-up Titanic exhibit that we have seen elsewhereb for the large ship wreck relics, The museum here was better for smaller kids and for those who are not as obsessed with the ship itself. The relics in the museum are personal items, things in pockets of survivors and anything floating in the water when the survivors were rescued. Lots of personal stories were told and even the stories of the ship's pets were explained. We got our tickets weeks in advance. There was no wait and I highly recommend doing that.

The wife and I took the kids (6 of us total). We had a great time. There were authentic Titanic artifacts on display. It was so cool to see actual items from the Titanic in person! The tickets weren't too expensive given the amount of time you spend inside. My wife is a Titanic history buff and she enjoyed every minute.Even grabbed a hat and shirt and 2 pictures from the gift shop. All in all, 5 out of 5 stars!

Line went pretty fast. People weren't very friendly as we were making our way through. I say hang back and enjoy it. Lots to see and interactive. Staff helped with extra info and such along the way. Gift shop is small and always packed. The custard shop is super cute and reasonably priced.

This was by far my most favorite part of the trip! You receive a boarding pass at the beginning which has details about the guest who was on the Titanic during the incident. By the end of the walk through you find out if your guest survived or not. The architecture was breathtaking. The items recovered from the wreckage were incredible. Feeling the water the people were in sent literal chills through my body. And the 'to scale Lego Titanic' was also incredible. I could continue to go on but you should experience it for yourself ❤️

Everything I didn't know existed was here. It was an experience of dreams. I felt like getting drawn myself and smelling the fresh paint and using the never used china. I wanted to float on doors and see the propellers and slipping and blowing a whistle. Just amazing from start to finish didn't want to leave. Will be coming back I’ve never been to this area in Tennessee and lots to see and do. There was a lot of ppl crowding out group and little kids pressing buttons but I waited till the crowd would pass. It is a self guided tour which was good. A lot of things to see. Wood work, hallways , 3rd, 2nd and 1st class set rooms shown. And in the end had a room with the Titanic movie awards and tribute which was really nice it wrapped up the whole thing really well. I left very pleased and impressed.

***Added 9-18-2024***My wife and I have spent a lot of time talking about the Titanic visit. We both agreed that some of the staff was too, out of character funny. The man who handed out the devices tried to joke etc. The exhibit is not a "joy ride" but a very somber and sad remembrance of the lives lost. I liked the reflection, but it does not seem as if it's handled right.I gave it 4 stars because of the emotional impact. You are given a boarding pass of a real person that was on the Titanic. You discover at the end of you live or die. I died. I got the card of a young Jewish boy in 3rd class on the way to America to be with his mother. You can feel her heartbreak when she learned of his death. The museum was very well put together and easy navigating. I have been on many self guided tours and they are all dependent on the crowd and it was a good crowd.I would include it on your tour list.

When first entering the Titanic museum the scene is set immediately when you see all of the staff that work at the museum are dressed in what would be the same attire that the crew on the Titanic was wearing, such a fun detail! You get a boarding pass of a passenger when you initially enter, and as you go along you'll find out the fate of that passenger - whether they perished or survived the Titanic. You're also given an audio player in order to get access to the different audio clips throughout. The entire museum is full of artifacts and details about the Titanic tragedy beginning with its planning, building, and construction, moving to its departure, the short journey and finally its tragic fate. The museum is very beautiful and tastefully done while also remembering all of the passengers who perished, including the people who were non-English speaking immigrants, the children, and the people who could not be identified. From my perspective, this is historically accurate and rich in history. If you're a movie buff the museum also has a small part of dedicated to the Hollywood blockbuster movie Titanic with some of the memorabilia from the movie, and also a really interesting and cool Lego Titanic built by a young man with autism.Great museum had a really nice time they also have commemorative Titanic photos they take at the beginning which come along with access to a digital copy if you purchase the keepsake photos. There's a room where you can experience the 28° weather that the passengers who are in the water experienced - there's some water you can touch and really understand how terrifying it must have been to be waiting for rescue when it was that cold and dark.I really enjoyed the museum and world recommend a visit to visitors of all ages. There are some restrictions about where photos can be taken, so be mindful of that!

Really interesting and beautiful museum. Fascinating to read all about the ship, from its construction to its sinking. Also had a good number of artifacts and photographs and a ton of information on the passengers and crew. One cool feature is they give you a "passenger card" about someone who was on the ship. At the end you get to find out your passenger's story and if you (they) survived.Entrt times seem to be pretty limited, so you may want to plan in advance rather than trying to make this a day-of trip.

I was able to visit the souvenir/retail shop without having to buy a ticket and tour. Planning ahead for a Titanic theme birthday party for my son that he chose to have and this place was super awesome for gifts and also decorations for his cake. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and patient. They have tons of stuff for kids as well as adults from small toys to more expensive exact replicas of the China they used on the ship. It motivated me to want to get tickets to gosee the museum too!

This attraction was amazing, the outside is so realistic. It looks just like the Titanic would have and they have done a wonderful job of explaining all aspects of the ship and of course it’s tragic fate. I felt very moved as I walked through the exhibits, I learned so many interesting facts that I would never even imagine that my jaded Titanic watching self could learn. I would highly recommend it, I took my daughter who has never seen the movie and she was in awe and is now researching facts about the ship and that fateful night.

Titanic is my all time favorite movie. I can sit and watch it 50 times over and still get excited about it. I’ve been waiting to go to this museum for so long. I mentioned it to my best friend and she was down to go on this weekend getaway with me. When I tell you that I was happy like a kid with a new toy, I mean that. We pulled up and my eyes lit up so brightly. The experience was amazing, the staff were so pleasant and the attraction itself is incredible! I’m so glad we were able to experience this and I can’t wait to go back for another trip to this incredible place. Thank you for making it one of the most memorable moments.

I recently visited The Island in Pigeon Forge for the first time during the evening, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere at night is magical, with the entire area beautifully illuminated by colorful lights that create a vibrant, festive ambiance. One of the highlights of my visit was the Market Street walk. Strolling through the market, I was captivated by the variety of shops and boutiques offering everything from unique souvenirs to delicious treats. The shops are diverse, catering to all kinds of interests, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The Island is also home to a mesmerizing fountain show, perfectly synchronized to music, which added an extra layer of entertainment to the night. The vibrant lights dancing in time with the music created a relaxing yet energetic vibe that was hard to pull away from.Beyond the shopping and the fountain, The Island offers plenty of fun attractions and rides, making it a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy a lively night out. Even if you're not into rides, just walking around and soaking in the atmosphere is an experience in itself. The entire area was clean and well-maintained, and it felt safe and family-friendly. There were ample seating areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings, and the layout made it easy to explore without feeling crowded, even with the bustling nighttime crowd.Overall, The Island in Pigeon Forge is a must-visit, especially at night when the lights and energy make it truly special. It's a place where you can unwind, have fun, and make lasting memories.

If you like lots of fun shops, various food venues from sit down to carry out, bars, distillery, winery, rides, and a giant Ferris wheel, then this place is a must stop. They feature shuttle service from parking lot too. You could easily spend a whole afternoon here!

It was a beautiful day. My husband and I, along with a couple of friends, spent the day at the island. Lots of shops to go through. We sat the very comfortable rocking chairs and watched the water fountain show. It was the perfect day. I highly recommend going if you get the chance. I will definitely be going again in the future.

There is so much to see and so much to do. For the fair games you do have to pay around 6 bucks each to get on or buy a wristband. The stores are mostly open until late. They have a tram on the weekends that stop by the stations in the parking lot to pick you up and take you to the front where the water show is. It runs every 15 minutes. Had a great time here. Definitely recommend!

Me and my best friend visited Pigeon Forge for the weekend and it was a good time indeed. We walked around, got some good snacks, watched the colorful fountain show. And onto my favorite part, riding the Ferris wheel. I know views from Ferris wheels are so stunning and this was no different. Seeing the whole park lit up at night and seeing parts of surrounding areas was so breathtaking. And see the Ferris wheel lit up in beautiful colors at night was so beautiful. We really enjoyed ourselves and we can’t wait to return for more fun. 🤩

This place is awesome and an happening spot. Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. Enjoyed strolling through the shops, as well as watching a band at the Ole Smokey stage, and enjoyed the stunning fountain show to some music. Decent amount of chairs around the fountain in which to sit down. The parking lot is huge and it's free, but you'll have to walk a little ways to get to the Island. We loved visiting The Island. It was fun for all ages. The Ferris wheel and a VR immersive ride (similar to Disney Soaring) were both first rate. Both are reasonably priced. There are an abundance of stores and restaurants on the well decorated property. There is a remote parking lot with shuttle service to and from the Island.

Well we stayed a week there, and let me tell you...we were never bored. The plain beauty of the park and wild life was awesome. Then you had shops and food places galore. And to see those majestic mountains in person was just breath taking. Make no mistake...this is a tourist place, so you will spend a few pennies or more. We spent our share of pennies but it was well worth it! There was so much to see and do we could have stayed longer and still not been able to explore all that it had to offer.

Favorite spot in Pigeon forge to hang out, shop, relax, eat, play... everything. This place has it all. We did tastings for moonshine ,cider, beef jerky, fudge, ice cream... there's wine tasting too. We stopped and listened to the amazing live music before dinner. Stopped and ate at one of the restaurants in there and it was really good.Parking can be a hassle but there's a whole Parking lot available. There's a bus that will take you to the front or you can walk. There's also a hotel right in the strip and they offer valle for $40.

I've been to Tennessee a few times but never stopped here at The Island. It's so worth the stop. I regret not stopping before while visiting. There is so much to say about The Island. There's just so much to do here. There are a ton of different shops for shopping. A good bit of restaurants. There are rides that you can buy tickets for. A moonshine tasting store and a ton more. There's also a resort you can stay at. The main attraction here is the fountain. It is located right in the middle of The Island and is beautiful. The fountain goes with the beat of whatever music they have playing for a watershow. It is a sight to see at night as well. I highly recommend The Island. It's free to enter.

This place is a mini amusement park! There is seriously something for everyone! Rides for the tiny tots and grown adults! We went with our five children and learned the hard way… well maybe not hard way but expensive way that the most economical option is the “unlimited” package. It’s $39 per person however if you plane to stay for any amount of time this is by far the cheapest option. Each ride cost $6 regardless of which ride or how old. With some exceptions as the Wheel is $16 for adult and $12 for children. The unlimited includes this ride as well. Also the ropes course and thunder dome (trampoline jump) are more than the $6 per ride. With the ropes course costing $16 and thunder dome $12. Which are also included in the unlimited package. Our five children had rode enough rides to pay for the unlimited in about ten minutes. And the had a blast! We went in the beginning of August and it was extremely hot during our stay so plan accordingly. Lots of water and sunscreen!

Dollywood is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to experience a charming country-themed park with something for everyone. The variety of shopping options and activities for children of all ages ensures that everyone in the family will have a great time. The park is impressively clean and well-maintained, which adds to the overall pleasant experience. The staff are friendly, helpful, and contribute to the welcoming atmosphere that Dollywood is known for.Thrill-seekers will be pleased with the numerous rollercoasters throughout the park, offering plenty of excitement. But the real highlight of the day was the evening fireworks and drone show. It was a spectacular end to a fun-filled day.Overall, Dollywood delivers on all fronts, offering a perfect blend of entertainment, hospitality, and Southern charm. Whether you’re visiting with family or friends, it’s a must-see attraction that won’t disappoint.

One of the best amusement parks ever! Every season changes and the park is always decorated and festive to match the season. Make sure to pay attention to the small details and effort they put into the experience. A great mix of experiences for the young and old. And for the young at heart that may have seen a few more seasons pass by. You can decide for yourself how to enjoy your time. Everyone has the freedom to enjoy it in their own way and under their own terms.

Excellent theme park! Very clean, tidy and masterfully decked out in wonderful thematic decorations to immerse you! Great selection of rides from the slightly more tame kid friendly sorts to the incredibly fast and furious type like the Lightning rod! Would highly recommend as a day out, includes free water and ice to top out with your own water bottle which is a huge quality of life addition. Also has friendly staff and a great variety of food and drink!

Super chill park! I was surprised. Not sure if it was a slow day or what but it wasn’t uncomfortably crowded, there were no lines. Great displays of Dolly’s life & career. The musical acts were good. Great rides (top 3 faves were Big Bear, Wild Eagle & Lightning Rod). And the harvest festival decor was beautiful! Nice variety of food. Apparently the Cinnamon Roll loaf is a must. There was also a lot of beautiful handmade craftsmanship for sale. Finally, if you stay in the resorts you get TimeSaver passes & if you buy anything over $25 at the park your packages are delivered to your room so you can continue enjoying your day. Amazing!

This place is really something special. We spent the entire 12-hour open time there and there were still things we didn't get to try or explore! This was my 2nd time going after 8 years and I can definitely say it is even more magical now than it was as a kid. My favorite rides are the Mystery Mine, Blazing Fury, the Tennessee Tornado, and the Wild Eagle.I was so excited to get an airbrush T-shirt while I was there too. I had the pleasure of working with the artist Eric and my shirt came out even better than I could ever imagine! He was so kind and we even got to chat a little before it was time to ride the Blazing Fury again. 😂I will say the food prices are pretty up there, but then again I know Disney and other theme park food prices are pretty insane. The food was pretty good, however. For those on the fence, I would definitely recommend riding the train, especially after dusk. It was a very beautiful experience and very relaxing after a 16,000-step day traversing the park!I will 100% be returning for years to come. Dollywood is truly a national treasure!

We had a great experience at Dollywood. It was our first time visiting the area and we knew very little about the park. It had so much to offer for people of all ages, and the workers were so very friendly. There are plenty of things for childless people to do there. If we were to go again we would definitely get the fast passes so we could skip the lines (however the lines were comparatively not as bad as the lines at Disney, Universal, etc).

Great place to take ride enthusiasts. They have some pretty cool roller coasters. They offer a military discount...be sure to take advantage of you have or are serving (thanks for your service!).Parking lots are huge. They have trams shuttle you into the park.Nice to see a place offer free water. Regular sodas are about 4 bucks. They have a souvenir cup as well.Prices weren't too bad. We didn't eat in the park, but I imagine that eating in park would cost ya....as 2 cups of Dippin Dots was 18.00.Lots of cooling stations. Lots of shaded seating. The interactive map is worth the download.

I love Dollywood! Great atmosphere and rides! We bought our tickets in advance online so we didn’t have to wait in the ticket line. The lines can get pretty long. Purchasing in advance would be a great idea. The food is very expensive we went to Hickory House BBQ got 2 orders of chicken tenders and fries which came with each plate, 3 chicken tenders and a side of fries and it was $33, outrageously expensive for what we got and that was with no drink. It was good but not worth the price. So be prepared it is a theme park so if you choose to eat there it is expensive. We also rode the trolley from Patriot Park which cost us $3 a person to ride and it was a lot better in my opinion then paying $23 to park my car in the parking lot of Dollywood. Overall we had a great time there! Also, don’t forgot to get some of their Cinnamon Bread! It is delicious!

We had such a great time at Dollywood! The weather sent us home early but we were grateful to be safe. There is so much heart and love felt at Dollywood. The staff are all so kind and helpful. It was such a fun change from our yearly visits to Disneyland. The kids and I loved the rides. Some were pretty adventurous! We would recommend this to all and Dollywood hotels too! Oh, and you must get the cinnamon bread! :)

Very clean park with lots to do. Thrill rides, fun shops, and shows. As for food, it's pretty reasonably priced for a theme park and decent tasting. The cinnamon bread, however, is worth every penny. It's so good I'd pay double. For a minor criticism, the parking lot is in dire need of repaving, and the walkway from the general parking to the park entrance isn't well marked or very segregated from the cars. That could use some improvement. All in all a good value and a nice time.

I can't wait to go back. The cleanest amusement park i have ever been to. The rides are all great and the wait times were short. The food was very good and of course the cinnamon bread is a must. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It's just a great place. Staff is nice, helpful and they don't seem miserable! They seem to like their jobs. My only add would be water filling stations. I saw on their site that they have them, I just never found them. We used the soft drink fountain water. Parking was easy, trams were quick.. overall A plus experience!!

First time here and it won't be the last. It is easy to see why this theme park keeps being voted the #1 park in the U.S. and the world. This is coming from someone who grew up and have annual passes to Disney World and have gone to Universal Studios since they opened. Who would've thought that some of the best roller coasters I've ever experienced would've been in Dollywood? I do have a gripe with several of the coasters as they are not big people friendly. In one of the coasters my legs were too long for the bar to come down and others due to my shoulders and chest the harness would not come down. That being said the ones I was able to do were just incredible. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Every employee we came across treated us like they've known us for years and treated us like family. The food was delicious, seeing people craft things like fiddles, metal work, carvings, etc was great. The Fall Harvest is nice to experience. I personally did not know much about Dolly Parton's life but after this visit I now have a profound respect and admiration for her and for the things she have accomplished in her life, career, her way to honor the people who have been an influence in her life, and how she finds a way to pay it forward. Just an incredible experience.

The most striking thing is how clean this park is. Really miles above most theme parks. That and a great selection of rides, lots of water stations and restrooms and great staff. Our young kids had a blast and the adults had a good time in the heat. A must-visit part of any trip to Eastern Tennessee.

We arrived “on time” for opening and it was packed with cars. However the system they have set up is very efficient and quickly got us to a parking spot. The trolley system is great however stroller storage (or maybe an extra trailer to put strollers) would be a benefit. We bought the two day pass and it was exactly what we needed to be able to see everything in each park. The rides were very easy to find and little wait times on the days we went. Food was good as well, very over priced however. And drinks overpriced as well, I think to be more family friendly, they should lower some of the food/drink prices. There is free water at any dining location which was great. Walking the parks was nice as well, it is a lot of walking so wear good shoes, the first day I walked nearly 15,000 steps and second day hit 12,000 steps. The rides were great, kids loved the smaller kid rides. And we did the big bear mountain ride- very exhilarating. There is good amount of shade throughout the park as well and seating to rest.

This was one of the most memorable trips my daughter and I have made to date. We went for the LumiNights and we were not disappointed! The park is so very wonderful. Clean, shaded, friendly. I will sing of its praises for years and will certainly be back.

Lots of shady walkways, lots of water misters to cool off, free cups of ice water, variety of rides and shows! We're not a family that enjoys many rides, but we were able to find several and make a full day within the theme park. We went on a Monday and arrived just before opening. Less than 2 minute wait at the ticket booth; awesome military discount-thank you!It wasn't crowded at all in the children's area first thing; walked right on to many rides. It did get more crowded as the day went on of course. Wait times for the popular rides were around 30-45 minutes most of the time.*Train ride: we sat toward the middle of the train. Recommend sunglasses and a hat, as the soot from the coal burning literally flies through the air; they do warn you once on the ride. We kept brushing it immediately off our clothes, but it got down my top and all over my hair; washed out of course, but we looked dirty for the remainder of the day. Train experience was okay; staff was great, but the ride only takes you around a section of the park, so you don't get to see all that much. If you have a small child, you may want to bring something to shield their eyes. If you don't have to wait long, it's ok. I enjoyed listening to the old music and hearing some of the stories.

Lots of things to do and see, very few “additional” costs after the ticket other than food and drinks of course. Very large theme park, I was surprised. That being said, it is starting to look a little dated in some places. I can’t imagine how crazy it must be on a busy holiday!!Free and convenient trams to the parking areas constantly available, so don’t worry about parking way out in D lot!

While entry can be a bit pricey, we were lucky to visit on a quiet Monday in September—no lines, no waiting, just pure fun! The rides were fantastic, making the visit absolutely worth it. If you plan to go during peak season, be prepared for outdoor queues, as much of the waiting area is uncovered. Keep in mind, the Smoky Mountains can get quite hot during summer, but there are plenty of water fountains and restrooms available For shoppers, the food and some souvenirs are surprisingly reasonably priced for a theme park—definitely a bonus! Highly recommend for a fun day out!

Wow, what an experience! Very very fun park. The rides were very entertaining and eventful. A place for all ages as I came on a family trip. The lines moved quickly and I was able to pretty much ride every coaster plus more in 1 day. They have misters and fans everywhere and the food was good. Overall I was satisfied would recommend Dollywood to anyone.

Had a great time!Food was spendy but good for the most part. Highly recommend the sweet potato loaded with taco fixings and the famous cinnamon bread.Ride wait times weren't too long, we had fast passes which I would say are a must for the roller coaster lines if you're willing to spend the money for them. Our favorite was either the Tennessee Tornado or the Thunderhead. Plenty of options for kid-friendly rides as well. The fall festivities and displays were a lot of fun!

Nature & Parks
Anna Ruby Falls is a picturesque natural wonder located in Unicoi State Park. The waterfall can be accessed by driving through the park and visiting the visitor's center. The hiking trail to the falls is paved, and there are several rock benches along the way for resting. Visitors should bring $5 per person to access the falls, and they can also visit the gift shop, which accepts cards and offers nice gifts.
We visit this Falls about twice a year. It is beautiful when the leaves are changing. I did not upload a picture of the actual falls because you must come and see them in person!

Absolutely beautiful!!! Picture perfect. The hike up to the twin falls was amazingly relaxing. Some steep parts but overall not bad.

Great location and easy to drive, but please note that the park charges $5 per person instead of per car. Overall, it's a lovely place to relax with your family and enjoy the fall foliage. I highly recommend it.

It's such a beautiful place. Absolutely worth it. The trail is steep at some points, but it is not too far, and there are lots of benches along the way to rest if necessary. Make sure you drink water before you go and bring water with you. There is also a great gift shop.

Beautiful, well maintained, pristine, Federal Parks land. The trail is paved and only a 1 mile round trip hike.Easy enough for fit and experienced hikers. Moderate to challenging inclines for beginners and elderly. If you have knee issues or joint pain don't miss the nature trail next to the parking lot and enjoy the short trail next to the creek. Plenty of seating and beautiful views everywhere.Great overlook next to the gift store.Los of picnic area.

What a great place for a quick hike and amazing views. Your time with nature will not be wasted here!! If your close swing by the roads aren’t too steep and the walk isn’t that far, a little bit of a climb but you will get there.

Such a beautiful waterfall, with just 0.4 miles easy hike. 15-20 mins drive from Helen, totally worth the views. National park annual pass also works here.

Wow, I didn’t think we have such a beautiful place within 75 miles. The place is magnificent. The falls were beautiful, give you a feeling of calm and serene. It was a short to the falls from the parking area, it may be hard for toddlers to hike but you can take wagons if you would like. The falls flows from the top to the bottom of the city Helen, it was such a beautiful view. It is a must visit.Plenty of parking, national park pass works here. Carry cash with you as it’s a small place and lots of vendors do not carry a swiping machine. There are a lot of picnic areas and playground for kids too. You can do either barbecue or pot luck or takeout. We enjoyed an every bit of the park! Love to visit again.

It’s very friendly for people with disabilities the whole thing is paved. There are quite a lot of people thought and it’s steep at parts. Definitely an easy hike to get close to nature. The pictures don’t do it justice to the magnitude and height of the falls. It’s conveniently inside unicoi state park which has a beach to swim in if you want to extend the trip. The falls will take about 1 hr tops. One thing to note is that it closes at 4pm, which is pretty early. The gift shop staff was friendly and they have creative gifts. We visited off season early May during the week and there was still a good amount of people there. I can imagine it gets a lot busier, it’s $5 per person to get in.

Anna Ruby Falls is short hiking trail leads to an amazing view of double falls. On the day me and my fiancee went it was a drizzling 🌧️ Morning, this boosted our Serenity levels. We couldn’t resist falling in love with this falls, we keep visiting as it’s 1:30HR drive from Atlanta and easy accessible from parking area. The overall experience was surrealistic 😍💚

The trail is wide and well-paved and winds up through the trees to the two parts of Anna Ruby Falls. Interestingly, the two falls cascade from noticeably different heights.Take your time walking as the trail gains elevation quickly. The falls were lovely and worth the hike.

Very beautiful! 1 mile round trip hike to the falls. Nice paved trail, with informative signs along the way. $5 per person entry fee.

Absolutely beautiful park! Entry was $5 per car, and they have a wonderful visitor center/ gift shop / restrooms at the parking lot. The walk up to the falls is fairly easy, with plenty of places to rest if needed. They have seating at the top to sit and admire the falls, plenty of vantage points for viewing.

Beautiful and well maintained park. Easy 1 mile round trip hike, shaded, and paved the whole way up to the falls with lookout points. A bit steep at some points but nothing too difficult. At just $5 per person to get in it’s a steal.

And an amazing adventure for my grandchildren. The excitement when they saw the waterfall, priceless!! Great exercise !! Great way to allow the grandkids to experience the outdoors and learn about history along the walk. This is truly a great place to come and visit and relax.
